Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗 Below is the 2020 schedule. Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Most importantly, have fun and merry masking!

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe
Remove clay/difficult masks in the shower to keep towel clean and removal easy	itsfi/BIC

@GalPalVal17  The blue mask was fun to try, but I do think $6 is a little much. 😬
I'm usually always running around the house, and chasing the boys when I'm masking, so a mask that stays put is important. I did like the shape of these eye masks though! 😉

Thanks for the reminder @Shosh85. Most of my masks have an expiration date (or manufacture date) listed but I need to remember that site for the ones that just have a batch code imprinted on the packaging. Adding the site to my favorites now. 

It seems that the Sephora masks in the square packaging don’t work as well for me as the sheet masks from their original line of sheet masks. I used the rose gold foil and thought it was just okay and haven’t felt motivated to reach for the blue foil. The mask itself is very pretty though!

@itsfi  It's weird that yours have dates and literally all of my Sephora masks have only batch codes. I have lip masks, eye masks, and face masks in both the original and square packaging - and they all only have batch codes. 🤔 I'm sure they would've happily refunded me if I had caught it in time, but it kinda stinks that I was sold an expired product at full retail price in the first place. 😢🤷‍♀️
I have the same feelings as you regarding the square vs. original packaging- the ones in the original packaging seem to work better for me too. It's funny you say you haven't been motivated to try the Blue foil one, 'cause I haven't been motivated to try the Rose Gold one 😂

Hahaha @Shosh85 😂😂😂. The foil masks haven’t gotten the best reviews from folks here so it makes me feel a bit “meh” about them.

Thanks, @lmaster! Definitely don't think it's worth $6, but it's fun, pretty and I had no bad reaction from it, so I can't complain too much 😉

Two masks that fit both themes B and hungry

The purlisse blue lotus mud mask and exfoliant is on B theme. The scent was typical for a mud mask. Light purple in color, and thick. I used my fingers to spread this all over my face, let it sit for 10 minutes, and it had dried down at that point. I used a wet makeup eraser to remove the mask. Me face felt a bit dry, I'm not a huge fan of this type of exfoliation, but I'll use it up.
Next also B for Boo bamboo and strawberries..yum!! Gifted to me by @l8totheparty thank you!! It's a black charcoal sheet, scent was not strawberries 😯 the fit was great, I didn't notice much extra serum in the package. Left it on for 20 minutes, after removing my skin didn't feel tacky, and had that nice clean feel to it. I also felt like it hydrated nicely! Thanks again lovely!

I'm just not a big fan of physical exfoliation @ather this was drying and felt abrasive while washing it off

My eyes widened reading the ingredients on that purlisse, @lmaster. Bummer it was a little too drying, I bet those ingredients would make a beautiful hydration mask though.

Oh that’s too bad about the Purlisse mask @lmaster - the ingredients list looked so promising. I really like the material on those boo Bamboo sheet masks; the coconut variety is my favorite of the bunch.

@lmaster That’s unfortunate the purpose is drying though good to know to have a toner on hand immediately after to reset your ph balance .   It sounds like it has a good list of ingredients.
