Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

A is for Aurora. Today I used my second oozoo bear the aurora illuminating mask.

This one was just ok for me. It had a light floral scent that wasn’t overwhelming. The fit was decent, it had plenty of serum at first. The recommended time was 10 to 20 minutes but I had planned on 30. But at 20 I could tell it was getting a bit dry so I went ahead and removed it. There was still enough serum to massage in but not any extra. I did notice my skin had a slight glow and it did feel hydrated. I definitely prefer the waterbang mask over this one. B-

It's so interesting to hear about the comparisons between the masks, @faeriegirl, and everyone's preferences. I recently used this one again (thank you @ShortErica!), but need to do another comparison. Every six months or so it's good to re-try matchup, because for me, preferences change!

@faeriegirl, sorry this one didn't perform as well as the waterbang mask. It was helpful for me to know how both compared to each other - I've used the hydrating waterbang mask before and liked it and have the Aurora illuminating one still to try.

Oh boo @faeriegirl. The opposite happened to me with the water bang not having a good wear time and extra serum. Hmm.. wonder what's the difference. Let me know when you try the black space one and how you compare it.

@faeriegirl  Sorry to hear this wasn't as good as the Water Bang one for you!- a "B" isn't a bad grade though, so I'm glad it was decent at the very least! I personally loved them both, but I feel like it's been awhile and I need to revisit the 3 Bears 🐻🐻🐻 😉

A is for Avacado.  I spent the entirety of the masking session trying to figure out what the scent of this mask is. It’s sweet, and maaaaybe? floral and NOT an avacado.  :D.  I have no idea!  The mask itself is thin and conforms nicely.  I wore it on the treadmill and it stayed on.  I actually wore it too long and it half dried to my face.  oooops.  my skin is nicely moisturized still.  Nothing special to report.  It’s a filler mask.  B

"Natural energy" might be the trick for a better workout @heartsmyface, ha! Your treadmill that requires a pw sounds like a bundle of frustration just waiting to happen. Sometimes the idea of something is better than the actual thing, isn't it...but you masked while working out, I would classify that as 'masking on the go 😉

Girl, you are goals!! 🙂 Masking and working out @heartsmyface?! Talk about multi-tasking! I agree, these botanic farms sheet masks make good filler masks; I don't think I've tried this avocado one, but I do like how thin the masks are.

I love the idea of wearing a mask while exercising @heartsmyface. If you happen to know off the top of your head, what type of home treadmill do you have? Do you like it?  I assume this was at home rather than gym at least since you were wearing a mask! 🙂
