Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee

Well last night I was super excited to get some snail juice on my face and it did not disappoint!  The Master Lab Snail Mucin mask was sent to me by the lovely @itsfi, after I'd mentioned that I'd be willing to give it a go.  Well... no time like gross week to try it! The mask had no real scent when I opened it and it had a light milky serum.  The mask was very thin but held up really well and fit nicely.  I think how think the mask was really helped it to adhere well to the curves of my face.  I was careful to avoid having any of the mask touch my mouth when I was putting it on and adjusting, (I'm a vegetarian), but otherwise I was ok with the snail juice.  I laid down in bed with this on for about 40 minutes and it was still fairly juicy on the forehead and cheeks, but had started to dry up around my mouth and nose.  My skin looked great after removing the mask, soft, no real tackiness, and it felt so hydrated, but not greasy at all!  I topped it off with a little DE Protini since I didn't want to go without a moisturizer at night and my skin this morning looked great!  My pores looked smaller, I was hydrated, and overall, my skin just looked really great.  I'm super pumped about snail juice now!

@missjeanie This sounds like a great mask, but the many uses of "juicy" makes me a little hesitant, like @eshoe , the one who's used deer velvet in a mask!!😉😊 No really,  I've tried the Mizon Snail Repair cream with good results. What we will do for great skincare!!☺🐌

@yankeefaithful I'll keep it up if I keep getting the results!  I'm all about having a good experience masking and don't think that it's all about results... If I have a great experience and the results are meh, well that's ok, but if I can get great results, I'm all in! lol

@missjeanie, I love your enthusiasm and boldness! 🤗💗 I’m so happy the mask worked out for you. 🐌 Who knew you’d be such a fan of snail masks?! 😆 There are a few different varieties in this particular Tony Moly line, but I’ve had pretty good results with the ones I’ve tried. I agree that the thinness of the mask is very nice and that it attributes to how well the mask hugs the contours of the face.

@itsfi I'm a fan for sure!  My skin looked great when I got up this morning and didn't feel dried out at all!  It's a bit gross sure, but I'm willing to do gross for results! lol I'll hit a few more this week for sure!  I usually enjoy the thicker masks because they seem to hold a bit of the serum, but this one was so thin and still held the serum really well.

H is for Hemp

Uncle Bud's "Got Hemp?" Belize Seaweed + Hemp Seed Oil Detoxifying Face Mask

This is a white clay mask that is soft and creamy in texture. (I was really expecting to be green for some reason😂) The scent didn't smell like hemp to me – maybe a mix between floral and herbal. It was almost too strong for me, but I do have a pretty sensitive nose. It had a cool and soothing feel going on and I felt some tingling not long after applying, but nothing too intense. The tingling lasted the whole time I had it on, about 20 minutes. This does not dry down hard, instead it's soft to the touch, which is what I prefer with clay/mud masks. I removed it easily with a damp washcloth. My face looked less dull, my complexion looked clearer and my skin felt incredibly soft and smooth. My face also felt a little dry and tight, which is what I expect from these types of masks, just didn't make me as tight and dry compared to others I've used. I knew I was going to have to place moisturizer soon, but wasn't running to get it on quickly. This gets an A- ....just because it said it was supposed to hydrate, but it didn't for me.

@lmaster There seems to be a lot popping up just recently. I think a pretty popular one at the moment is the Origins "Hello,Calm" mask. Have you tried that one yet?
