This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

Right @ather?!! I think you are onto something with the intention perhaps being "tightening" or "firming" and that it may have gotten mis-translated. Interestingly, I did see a review for the mask where the person reviewing claimed that it gave him/her cheekbones. I get that everyone can have a different experience with a mask but that review seemed a smidge questionable. 😲 Because yes, as you said, if it did contour the face, I would also think, as you mentioned, that it would have cost a whole lot more than I paid for it, and I'm fairly certain I'd have a hard time getting my hands on it. Hahaha!

@itsfi  Interesting 🧐 I wonder how one mask would change cheekbones. I do think it would be more expensive and i would also agree we never would get your hands on it!

@itsfi the Chic scent sounds inviting, but the second skin Cute mask seems even more so! 5 minutes just seems too short; maybe they are trying to appeal to new maskers by making it seem less of a ‘chore’ 🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess it’s a starting point, happy to hear that they were comfy for close to an hour ☺️

@eshoe, I think that could be a possibility but I think it's more probable that they were just marketing it as a quick mask with intense or immediate results for those moments when you need something fast. I feel like most people who use a sheet mask are prepared for the typical 10-20 minute recommended wear time for the sheet mask, save for those 1-minute or 5-minute daily mask packs or ones like these that say you can see results in as little as 5 minutes, and expect to devote that time to using a sheet mask. The lyocell material on all these masks were wonderful and gave that second skin feel that lyocell / Tencel is known for.

@lmaster, I’m sure it’ll be shocking when I say that it was the packaging that drew me in. 😆 I think the chic mask would be nice for someone who likes witch hazel or AHA/BHAs in their sheet masks. Even though I think the volume of chemical exfoliants in the chic mask is probably small, I still tend to steer away from them if I can. My cheeks are particularly sensitive and can become easily over-exfoliated if I’m not careful. No need invite over-exfoliation or a compromised skin barrier if I can help it. 😉

@itsfi What a great try out of these masks! These are some masks that I haven't yet seen, always so nice to get to see a variety of new (to me) face masks on here to get ideas for future purchases. Also, I love your chart organization, makes it so easy to navigate the key functions one might be looking for. 🙂

@QueenMarceline, thank you! These are from the same brand that puts out the 7 Days sheet masks. I’ve tried some good ones from that range and decided to give these series a try. The chart comes in handy to see everything at once. 😃 I used it a lot when I first started masking, to help keep track of masks I tried, and it’s sorta stuck. I don’t use it all the time but if I’m comparing masks within a line or with something in common, like an ingredient, the set up is pretty efficient and effective. 👍🏼

this sheet mask was a dud. The packaging says it contained “swift nest extract” which actually kind of creeps me out but I was expecting it to be super soft. The sheet mask itself was scratchy though and it was one of those insanely round cut ones. The serum didn’t have a scent. I just didn’t find it particularly hydrating 

oh well, on to the next one!

@Kim888, I find the few Farmstay masks that I have tried to be very hit or miss for me.  There was a honey version 🍯 I tried really early on in my sheet-mask-wearing-life that I liked a lot at the time; it’s one of those masks I think about trying again to see what my thoughts would be on it now. 🤔

Week’s Theme: Animal Printed Masks

The Creme Shop: Chill Out, Skin! Arctic Fox Printed Animal Sheet Mask

I absolutely love this theme and have quite a few The Creme Shop masks on hand that fit it perfectly, so I thought what better time than now to get to try out a couple new masks I've had on hand? Thank you @Shosh85 for this amazing theme 🙂

My Thoughts:

This mask was so cute I couldn't resist picking it up at the sale price per pack. I rarely see "cooling" masks so that also caught my attention. The mask is a nice wearable thickness and comes quite heavily saturated with serum. I did not get much of a scent off of it other than a more faint "typical face mask scent". My wear time for this was about 25 minutes and it was still quite saturated when I removed it. This mask really delivers because I could almost instantly feel the gentle cooling effects on my face. It is not a typical type of tingling cooling sensation but instead a very mild, refreshing feeling which I enjoyed quite a bit. After removal I felt a hydration and "plump" feeling that was left behind from this masking experience. I believe this would be an amazing summer-time mask, not necessarily one for post-sun usage like the Watermelon from Sephora Face Masks but instead a nice refresher after spending time outside in a hot/humid environment. I think this would be amazing to slap on after a shower or a face wash after a day spent (sweating) outside. I didn't think I needed this one but it turned out, I certainly do (especially during this season). Definitely would repurchase!

@QueenMarceline, this is a good one! There are a few masks from TCS that I would repurchase and this is one of them. I first learned of this one from @lmaster and it’s one that makes my skin happy. 👍🏼 It doesn’t hurt that the packaging and the mask design are really cute. 😉
