This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

I'm with you on the Taiwanese masks and their fit, @itsfi. They tend to have such good coverage without needing much in the way of maneuvering around facial features. Plus who doesn't love a good tencel mask?! Glad to hear this one worked out well for you- it sounds like a nice one to have on hand!

@quspork, needing to make a few tweaks here and there isn’t a deal breaker for me but not having to make them or a lot of them, well, that definitely helps a mask stand out. The great material and results seal the deal for me when it comes to many Taiwanese sheet masks.

@itsfi  Interesting I have never seen an Annie’s way mask that wasn’t the bubble tea version. I’m glad you enjoyed it! I will definitely keep my eyes out for these!

@ather, these masks are worth a try if you can find them. Love the Tencel material! ♥️ This range was my introduction to the brand, and since then and through this thread, I learned about the bubble tea masks.

P is for Purifying

This a new brand to me. 😀 The soft, thin, biodegradable microfiber sheet of the O Calm Charcoal & kelp Purifying Facial Mask is etched with a grid-like, gauze-like pattern. The essence is clear, light, slightly viscous and with a slight tea tree oil based scent. There's something else to the scent that helps to cut down the traditional tea tree oil smell, though I'm unsure whether it's one or a combination of the various oils and extracts in this mask or if it's the added fragrance thankfully at the end of the ingredients list. 

The mask adheres beautifully and it can be adjusted for a tailored fit by shaving off an inch at the chin and jawline and making the slightest of incisions to the inner corners of the opening for the eyes and the corners of the mouth opening. Instructions recommend leaving this mask on for 10-20 minutes and I went with the outer limit. There's some essence that remains upon removing the mask; my skin easily and quickly absorbs all of it almost instantaneously and I'm left with soft, smooth, clear, slightly matte skin that feels slightly hydrated and with zero tack or stickiness. This is one I would happily repurchase. There are 3 other varieties within this collection and, based on my experience with this one, I intend to try them all. 😁

The material on this one is gauzy @itsfi? 🤩I immediately looked up the site you shared with @Shosh85, and see that they have a set of four. Sounds like another one to try!

@eshoe, I wouldn't say the material is gauze-y like the By Wishtread sheet masks; it's more that it has a gauze like pattern imprinted in the sheet mask material. It made me wonder initially if it was gauze, but I don't think it is. 😕 Still a good mask, just not one I'm confident in saying is a gauze mask.

@Shosh85, I think I picked it up at an Asian beauty boutique pre-pandemic. I went onto that store's website but they don't have it on there. I did, however, look up the brand and they have an US site - type in o calm sheet mask into your search engine and it should pull up the site. They have 20% off for first time orders and I saw that there is a set with one each of all of the masks in the collection.

P is for prickly pear (aka cactus) 🌵

Without being drippy or feeling weighed down, the soft, pliable cotton cupra of the SNP Jeju Cactus Mask 🌵 holds a lot of essence, which here, has a clear, lightweight, slightly viscous, light, fresh and somewhat herbal/plant scented consistency. The mask adheres beautifully and with a few incisions here and there, can yield a tailored fit. Results-wise, the mask lives up to its hydrating claims, leaving my skin feeling and looking refreshed, smooth and more plump. 💚 It also did a nice job of calming and reducing redness, making it a good fit any time of the day, including part of a morning skincare routine and in preparation for makeup application. Thank you @Shosh85  🤗 for sending this one my way; it's definitely repurchase-worthy. 👍

The Chesapeake Bay Candle Cactus Pear Home Scent has a clean, fresh, fruity-ish scent that is refreshing and the throw is pretty good. The scent is a nice one in the kitchen and bedroom; the throw doesn't quite fill up a larger space, like the family or living room.

I picked up a subtle mix of tart and fruity flavors from the Tazo Prickly Pear Cactus Herbal Tea. 🍵 Not sure how folks feel about tartness in their teas; I didn't mind it at all, but it may not be for everyone. I do think this one might work well for an iced tea, maybe adding some honey infused ice cubes to it before serving. 😋

The light tint from the Sonoran Rosie Prickly Pear Cactus Lip Balm is a hit with me. ♥️ I've been keeping at my desk while working from home and this may be one of a few I keep at my work desk when it comes time to being there more regularly.

Thank you again for sending this one to me @Shosh85! I really am finding SNP to be a solid brand for sheet masks. Ones like this cactus mask definitely raise its profile. The mug is a lot of fun; I sometimes just set it on a table and use it to hold my lipbalms or lip glosses. Ha! 🌵
