This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

January	Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings.
February	Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC.
March	March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please!

@itsfi   It is messy and me not being able to apply it smoothly even though it appears to have a smooth texture was mildly frustrating.  I have photos but hahahah the shame!  

I completely expect to see you using this soon.  😉

That is a heavy duty masking spatula, @heartsmyface! For the work, these do leave the skin feeling pretty soft and cool to the touch ❄️

@eshoe   Hahahah, it’s just a mini kitchen spatula! I moved everything around in my beauty room and have forgotten where my skincare spatulas and spoons got organized to.  Where I put them must’ve made sense to me at the time but for now I’m at a loss😅.  

and yes!  The cooling was quite nice.  Maybe I’d appreciate them more in the summer...or on a morning I’m feeling extra groggy.

Hey, I am all for multi-purposing, @heartsmyface! I too, have wondered about the mystery of where things disappear to after reorganizing. One too many times 🤷🏻‍♀️

@lmaster   It was but not uncomfortably so.  It would have been more appreciated in warmer weather though.

@Shosh85   The satisfying part  was seeing the smooth side as it peeled off.  It was so much nicer on the inside.

@ShortErica   Yeah the mixing is fun but it certainly requires you to be in the mood.  Probably why I prefer sheet masks and ready to go mud masks. Usually when a mood like that strikes I want to make food and not skincare😁

A is for Apple and Açaí

Peripera Juice Time Apple Sheet Mask 🍏

This is a super thin and transparent cotton sheet mask that was drenched with a clear watery serum. The scent was mostly just your standard sheet mask kind of scent with just a hint of a green apple smell. The fit was good – just a little too wide at the temples and a tiny bit long at the chin. The mask adhered well and was comfortable to wear the half hour I had it on. There wasn't any tackiness after removing and my face looked a smidge brighter and my skin felt soft, smooth, moisturized and had a nice glow.

I really enjoy using this one and love the results! I will definitely keep repurchasing all the masks from this and the Smoothie lines for as long as I can!

Holika Holika Pure Essence Sheet Mask ~ Açaí Berry

This is a super thin and transparent cotton sheet mask and was drenched with serum that had a sort of a earthy/floral kind of scent. The mask was a little long at the chin and just smidge too wide at the forehead. I kept the mask on for about 30 minutes. When I removed it, there was a little tackiness, but I got distracted with the the kiddos so I'm not sure how long it lasted. My face felt soft, nicely moisturized and a little plump.

I really liked the results from this one and I'd use again, but probably wouldn't repurchase - there are plenty other moisturizing masks that have better scents, or none at all.

@Shosh85, I like those Holika Holika masks for daily masking or when I don't feel like thinking about what mask to use. 

Ohhhhh, Peripera sheet masks. Every time I see you post about one, my emotions go up and down like a roller coaster . . . happy and excited because I know it'll be a good mask, at the very least. Then sad knowing they are being phased out. To then being curious how many more I have in the "reserves" section of my mask library. 😉

@itsfi  Yep, exactly, I'd consider this Holika Holika line to be good filler masks. I have 10 packs in a couple of the varieties and I'm kinda regretting buying them - I just don't need that many filler masks 😬

The whole Peripera situation makes me so sad. 😥 It's bad enough when one mask you like gets discontinued, but a whole brand of masks?!! ☹️😢😠

I’ve seen that Holika Holika mask and was curious, @Shosh85. Good to know I can be on my merry way without trying it! Something about that violet (?) hue is so pretty, though, nice packaging.

@eshoe @Shosh85  That’s what I was going to say, the nice packaging is the real draw.  I think I have a few of these but maybe different ‘flavours’

Guilty over here for picking up a mask just for the packaging, @heartsmyface - I can’t believe I haven’t had more duds given my technique.

@Shosh85‘s mask reminded me of this one I bought, because I thought the design was cool 🤦🏻‍♀️ Haven’t tried it yet, but guess now I will add it in for next week - B for Berry.
