Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks💗

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

That looks like a relaxing eye mask to throw on for a bit, @itsfi. I'm interested in hearing how it works out used in conjunction with a sheet mask.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@quspork,  I'm going to try to make good use of this eye mask and will try it out with different types of sheet masks - cotton, bio-cellulose, hydrogel, Tencel, etc.! I shall keep you posted! 😁

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi   I can’t help but feel it would be great for pressing the serum into your skin.  But then you could do that with your hands.   I can see there being benefit in it forcing you to lay back and relax though...  and the weight has got to feel good...  I’m still on the fence with this product.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@heartsmyface, the weight does feel good and is nice for unwinding. I recently purchased a weighted blanket, to see if that might help me sleep better and this eye mask is sorta like a weighted blanket for the eyes and cheeks. 😄

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi @I recently bought a weighted blanket as well!  It’s a nice full body hug!  I find it comfortable for an hour or so and then it’s too much.  Are you enjoying yours?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@heartsmyface, I like the weighted blanket, though not as much as I did when I first got it. Yes, a full body hug! It's nice for helping my body relax a little more and fall asleep, especially when I pair it with a steam eye mask. Ahhhh! But, I'm still waking up in the early morning hours, well ahead of when I would like to get up. I'm determined to figure out what is at the root of this though. 😆

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  Ugh there’s some common grounds I wish we didn’t have.  I’ve been having a hard time going to sleep in general and am waking up around 5am.   I’ve been trying turkey at night, yoga, warm baths... it’s helping a little.  The yoga most of all.    I may have to cut out drinking tea altogether though that’s a last resort.  I like my tea. 😕   Are you experiencing more stress than usual? It could be that we’re getting less exercise being home all the time?  so many variables to explore.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Wow, cutting out tea altogether 😳😳@heartsmyface?!! Would switching to an herbal caffeine free tea after a certain time help? For me, I’m sure it’s a combination of sitting at my desk for too long, less exercise (and less outdoor time than I had before), and stress, the latter of which I suspect because I was doing things that are typically signs of stress for me (gritting my teeth, etc). I’ve been making some adjustments that have helped, like carving out time in the middle of my day to take a walk outside and giving myself more downtime (and without my phone or computer) before bed. I like your idea of yoga. I’ve been doing some stretches in the mornings and throughout the day, but a solid amount of time doing yoga would be good.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

From Q week, Quret and Rose Quartz:

Spoiler
Like @itsfi I also selected the Nourishing Brazil Nut variety from Quret, though I did not have any food snacks on hand 😉 I bout a 10 or 12 pack which also includes eggplant, broccoli, tomato, and a couple of other ‘flavors.’ This is the one I found to be most nourishing and moisturizing. I detected a slight scent after first opening, faintly nutty, which was pleasant. It fades pretty quick. The fit is pretty good, with the eyes a little large which made the pairing with the Skin Gym All-Natural Rose Quartz just right!

I pulled these hydra-gel masks from the MOtM box, and they were a fun little treat. The Barbie pink gels with star shapes at the corners are adorable and fun to use. As far as efficacy? They were definitely soothing. I would use them again in a heartbeat, just for how cute they are. Thank you to whoever added them to the box, I really enjoyed getting to try them!

Also pictured is the Wander Beauty Lip Retreat Oil Skinny Dip. Love how this looks and feels. It isn’t too heavy or sticky, and has a decent wearing time. Something I can wear as gloss that I can feel good about is a bonus!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe oh those eye patches look exceptionally cute!!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

They are, @lmaster! I think I first saw them on @emaisgr8, and thought they were adorable ☺️

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe   I LOVE the wander lip retreat!!!!  I’ve been wearing it in excursion as my default lip product!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

It makes a great gloss, @heartsmyface 💗 So easy to forget it’s a treatment!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe Those eye patches really are super cute! Glad they turned out decent!
I've been tempted to try out that lip oil - will definitely have to add it to my next order! 😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I would say the lip is similar but not as thick as the Dior Lip Glow Oil Pink @Shosh85. It’s much more pigmented, whereas the Dior has a jelly stained appearance. Both are 👍🏼, though!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@eshoe  Good to know! Thank you!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I've really enjoyed the Wander lip oil too, @eshoe!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Of the products I’ve tried from the brand, it’s my favorite @quspork 🙂 Happy yo hear it works for you, too!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I must have missed the initial scent on the sheet mask @eshoe. We're semi-twinning it with the rose quartz eye masks too.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi I’ve noticed that even in multipacks of the same exact mask, there are nuances in size/scent sometimes🤷🏻‍♀️ There was a mask @Shosh85 @recently used that I had a 10-pack of, the Jin Jung Sung 🐌, where I found some fit better than others. Nothing major, but worth noting.

The rose mask is really pretty. Something like that would be a great way to bring some variety to getting through a 30 (or 32🤔) day mask pack!

Finished off the for innisfree & compared it at the same time to GG Supermud. Going to keep this short since GG is a known love for me & i just reviewed Innisfree. But hey no redness tonight! I purposely avoided that cheek area with Innisfree & nothing. I mostly did some tzone & along the jaw line,. one mask on either side. GG was harder to wash off but I felt cleaner on that side. I think Innisfree leaves a residue, maybe to mattify? .. Yup, I'll stick to my GG for my pesky problem area. @itsfi  here is the back of that GR Avocado

foil. It does mention a pha ..edit: I think this is the original, this one contains honey, the new retinol doesn't. I need to dig around to see if I have a sample of the new one. Nice catch @itsfi 💚
