We can’t tell you too much about your September box right now, but let’s just say your makeup bag is about to get a serious upgrade—in more ways than one! We’ve redesigned your PLAY! bag so now not only is it seriously eye-catching, it’s also 100-percent recyclable.
Your box will arrive the third week of September, but here’s a buzzworthy hint to tide you over until then:
Your September box will contain one of these innovative products: boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer; NUDESTIX Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil in Kiss; or OLEHENRIKSEN Truth Serum.
MSA posted full box spoilers:
II got box 715. I am excited to get the foundation because I also hadn't seen many good reviews but then I saw that it was on Allure's best of beauty awards. Glad I got a sample so I can try it out. Doesn't have to be a color match to wear it around the house and see how I like it. I have the rest of the products already so they are fine. Yes I would of liked a different perfume than one I own but not upset because obviously I like this one. The only bummer was I didn't get the primer. I was really kind of excited to try that. I don't care about the bags one way or another.
Sephora third mascara in a row since the month of April. Not nice! Love all the other products. Box 756
What ever happened to those perfume samples? That was one of my favorite parts.
Is this a joke? You go from adorable , reusable soft fabric draw string bags to a plastic ziplock?!?!? I get that you claim the plastic is all recyclable but NEWSFLASH NOT EVERYONE HAS ACCESS TO RECYCLE!!! At least the fabric bags could have repurpose potential! This is complete crap. It’s cheaply made, loud as hell and without even using it yet mine has a whole in it. This is a HUGE down grade . You were barely keeping up with Ipsy box subscription and now sadly they have a huge leg up on the play! Box considering they still offer a useful and reusable and cute and well made make up bag with each order. Sad sad sad Sephora
@SephoraPLAY plastic bags can't be recycled if there is no plastic number 😞
I completely agree with everything the other subscriber said. The new bag is RIDICULOUS. Ipsy is doing it for $10.I would glady pay an extra few bucks for everything to be good quality including the bag it comes in!We have to give honest opinions or Sephora Play will not realize they are going to lose subscribers to other subscription services.
To be clear i believe the products in the Sephora play box are slightly better quality than other subscription skin care and make up boxes which is why i have stuck with it for so long and i also would have gladly paid an extra few dollars for a better alternative than the draw strong bag if that is really what they were trying to offer but i truly believe this is a downgrade and a way to save money . Even though the draw string bag wasn’t perfect and maybe on the cheesy side ... any switch to plastic at this day in age is sad. A lot of people can’t recycle and 70% of recycled products in the US actually never get recycled! The fabric is at least biodegradable over time and harms oceans and wild life way less than a plastic bag . Meaning for ever 1 subscriber that will recycle these bags.... 7 will contribut to the growing plastic waste issue . Maybe I’m just one person and “should hang my head to talk to such a big conglomerate as saphora” as another reply stated but i truly hope they are smart enough to listen to feed back such as mine.
I agree with you. If they need to save money, just put the items in the cardboard box. No need for the wasteful plastic bag.
Wow, seriously? This is a freaking joke! I'm not ☺. I was thinking they were going to give Ipsy a run for their $. This is ridiculous!
