November play box

I Did not receive my 50 insider points card in the November box . May I know why?

I canceled my subscription as well but I would like to know if anything has changed in the last month. Any possibility of the points coming back? Thank you

Nothing in January and I have just realized there are no points! So I cancelled my subscription as this was one of the reasons why I signed up and enjoyed the box in the first place. Besides, my box this month included primer (surprise!), black ink tattoo liner (another surprise!), brow gel (I've received like several of them - triple surprise!), and a very smelly perfume sample. I have enough repetitive samples to gift and use for a year now.

I’m about to cancel again because guess what! No points in this box either and it’s nothing exciting. Super disappointing!

I signed up for Play! in October and I also had read that it would include a Play Pass, and yet I never received one for the month of October or November. This is very disappointing! False advertising, especially if the company knew they were doing away with the system and didn't bother telling their customers. Along with the expired foundation sample I received, I think I might be cancelling as well.

Really? Many months I do not find any of the samples of use and just give them away. At least the 50 points are a guarantee of something that I would use when shopping at Sephora. I think enough people on this forum are making their voices heard. Hopefully, Sephora, you are listening.

So they say it was to provide better samples. Seriously? Still doesn't answer the question of why were we not notified of a change in our terms prior to being billed? Last month you purposely deceived customers by sending us an expired foundation with a sticker placed to cover the expiration date and did nothing to correct this. Now you change the terms of our agreement without any advanced notification of the change. This is not acceptable and not representative of a company that claims to care about their customers. This pattern makes me question the motives and direction of Sephora. Cancelled my subscription after this one.

I didn't either! Like, what the heck?! And in my October one I only got a 20% off foundation and creams. If you have to include a coupon instead of points, at least make it whatever percent off everything and not just 2 things. I look forward to my points, and this month we got NOTHING!

i love sephora and i am banking my points for something cool, so i was upset over the 50 point loss. the way i see it, the points were to off set the fact that i get charged monthly and do not earn points. also i loved the old cloth bags these cheap plastic bags are goofy and pointless. not only do they only sample out the same maybe 5 brands - i have gotten the same exact samples over and over again, and even some repeat items that came were smaller samples (bum bum cream, and a smash box liquid lipstick) it seems like the value of the boxes are going down. I am considering switching to ipsy or something worst case scenario, i throw my money away elsewhere and maybe i get to try some different things.

I didn't either- and last month it was a coupon for getting foundation I think, which I couldn't use because I had purchased foundation a few weeks prior. The play passes were a good motivator for me to make my way to the closest Sephora and see what's in store and redeem it with a monthly trip (sometimes buying full-size or different shades of a sample from that month). I don't know if I'll cancel, but it was kind of a crappy move against customers to be petty enough to take away 50 monthly points. I want to say I subscribed in the last 6 months and I already got a repeat product this month, and keep getting so much mascara even with everyone complaining about not wanting so much mascara, which also is not a good reflection for how they care about customer feedback and not helping their case for me to decide if I want to cancel or not.

I did cancel after learning no more play passes. That was the main reason I was hanging on after almost 2 years. After that no play pass decision, it was easier for me to cancel.

So they take away the points and don’t replace it with anything else-even an additional sample would of been better than taking something away that we all loved (I don’t believe customers said they didn’t want the points) that was strictly a Sephora decision. Time to cancel Play!

i also didn't get the play pass this month. im quite disappointed with the trajectory of this subscription service. im paying for the perks and rewards. with the old passes i was more likely to go instore and purchase something or even poke around on a monthly basis. these newer restrictions are not appreciated.

I didn’t either. One of the main reasons I subscribed to Play! Was for the benefits like the 50 point play pass. If they are getting rid of the play pass I’m canceling my subscription because I’m no longer getting what I truly paid for.
