Sunscreen for oily skin

Hey! I'm currently trying to look for a good sunscreen that I can put on a daily. Any recommendations? I have oily skin and acne prone.

@annggiie I would agree with both @shortsweetsilly AND @missjr. I'm currently using an Elta MD sunscreen myself and it's great but when I had much oilier skin I tried the MURAD - Oil and Pore Control Mattifier Broad Spectrum SPF 45 PA+++++ and at the time it worked really well for me.

@annggiie I'm acne prone also.  Had a terrible breakout a few years ago, and my dermatologist recommended EltaMD UV Clear.  I've been using it every day since.  It contains Niacinamide also, so that helps with acne also.  My runner up option would be SUPERGOOP! - Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40.  It has a beautiful matte finish

I'm seconding the EltaMD - my esthetician recommended it to me, it is a lifesaver and truly is the best thing for my oily skin.  I use the Daily Tinted, and I'm NEVER oily with it.  I even use it as a primer (after my moisturizer) and it keeps me matte. LOVE and 100% recommend ❤️

I swear by the MURAD - Oil and Pore Control Mattifier Broad Spectrum SPF 45 PA++++.  It hydrates, mattifies and protects my skin.  It also wears well under makeup without pilling.  Although I prefer the old formula, this one is a great daytime moisturizer.

RE: Sunscreen for oily skin

Hello! I also love Supergoop products! I have acne prone skin and so does my boyfriend and neither of us break out after applying it or having it on for a full day in the sun. They have a mini size bottle that is perfect to try out to just sample and also perfect to keep in a purse all the time. Their açaí lip balm is also the only thing that keeps my lips from not being dry every day. I hope this helped 😊

Hi @annggiie,

I recommend looking for a sunscreen with a matte finish. I like the SUPERGOOP! - 100% Mineral Smooth & Poreless Matte Screen SPF 40.
