Thanks so much! Those two definitely wound up similar, though they got there via different routes...I love the glowy contrasting shimmer look lately, so any way to get it is fine by me 😅

For most of these, I was just following a pre-written recipe, perhaps with minor modifications...I absolutely cannot take credit for how they turned out as folks better at this than I am told me what to do lol. It helped me greatly though, and gave me a better idea of what finished results might look like. I had no idea how the one on my middle finger would look before I started, and the final polish was a bit of a surprise (in the best way, I gasped once I had it mixing). It's so fun to see what happens with the various pigments!

Wow, @RGbrown , they all look great! 🤩  Really love your index finger color. 🥰  The copper shift on your middle finger in the last pic is gorgeous!  I did browse the site, but I'm not ready to commit...yet. 😄

For my index:

🔹Aurora Sparkling Snow

🔹I added 1/2 a drop or so of red just to keep it from being clear

For my middle:

🔹Aurora Candy Gingerbread

🔹Liquid Holo Microflakes

🔹Admiral Blue liquid pigment

🔹Red liquid pigment (not sure which red would be the exact DRK equivalent...mine is from an M&N kit just marked "red")

It's a lot of fun, but also dangerous to your wallet if you wind up enjoying it, so I totally understand the hesitation lol 💸 I just spent entirely too much between DRK and TKB Trading (another site with pigments and other supplies...DRK has the more showy auroras and multichromes and such, but TKB has a bunch of basic colors and shimmers I want to experiment with too). Hopefully everything I picked up will take care of this minor obsession for a good long while, and it won't become a long running hobby I need to keep refueling 🤞

I bought a couple of polish making kits back around Xmas but kept putting off doing anything with them because I hated to waste the tiny amounts of pigments if I screwed something up (hoarder tendencies too...I like having stuff, but I hate finishing stuff and then being out), but I finally pulled them out last night and mixed up a few just to see what I wound up with. I figured making sparkly fireworks for my nails was a perfect July 4th activity 🎇

The aftermath 😂 I have random smears of polish all over my mani and apparently I wiped my hands on my pants at one point too...thankfully I was just wearing housebum pants I don't care about lol 

Sadly, I now have a $90 cart built at DRK for more pigments, stuff I actually want since the kits just come with a little of this and little of that, and some of it isn't all that appealing to me...I've got a couple of ideas of polishes I'd like to dupe or create. I need more polish like I need a hole in my head, but aaaaaa it's so much fun. Send help! 😂
