I swear, I've about given up on a good Zoya sale; while I was in Five Below grabbing polish, I picked up some pure acetone to make more of the faux-Zoya remover I've been using of late. It works great, for sure, but I really miss Remove+ at the same time 😞

Second dip mani with revel liquids and the white dip powder, red dip powder is kiara sky I got on clearance from what’s up nails probably about a year ago and am just now using 😑 I have been obsessed with nails lately and really need to stop bc I have like 4 makeup bags full of unused colors. I mean true to my hoarder form as it’s only one category of items I have a ridiculous stock - but you all will see me back posting in the budgeting thread bc March was crazy and April needs work! Anywho - @itsfi  my last dip didn’t last 10 days and started chipping on day 2 but I have hopes for this second one since I’ve educated myself on the process! Will update you again! These colors were chosen by my boyfriend I asked him what color I should do and he said red and white for Milwaukee tools that’s he’s recently been obsessed with 😶😶 next time remind me not to ask for his input hahaha💅🏼❤️🤍

Thank you! Lol so far it’s day 3 and no chips 🤞🏼🙌🏼 I started following quite a few different nail groups on fb for inspo! When the pandemic first hit and we were quarantined I was doing weekly manis and hope to get back to atleast biweekly❤️🙏🏽💅🏼 It is just good for my soul to look down at them taken care of!

@SAlyFitz, I get that. At the beginning of the shelter in place, I had a routine for makeup and nails. It was very nice to have that consistency with things up on the air. I’ve since become a lot more lax with both and need to jump start that. I smiled when I read your comment about it being good for your soul to see well manicured hands - that’s a great motivator and inspiration! ♥️

Seriously whatever works right like healthy ways to be happier! Okay sooo day 8 my polish didn’t chip however I did break a nail causing my dip to crack... I don’t attribute it to the products but the user - I was opening new baby toys and didn’t grab the scissors soo really the mani and products so far are receiving top notch reviews... I need to be less lazy! I ended up gluing the chipped polish back onto my nail (bc it broke in one piece) the just filing down to where my real nail was for durability. I put a regular top coat on to increase shine and hopefully longevity but day 9 and other than my booboo, perfect!

Thanks haha! I probably wouldn’t haven’t chosen them- this mani gives me Valentine’s Day vibes - I could wrap my mind around even summertime with Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day inspiration but rn I need pastels! But here we are lol😌😂🤪

I did two silly things today, and thought I'd share 😋

I had an eye doctor appt this afternoon, and got there a few minutes early. Instead of just waiting in my car, I decided to give the Five Below next door a quick perusal, and stumbled upon an LA Colors collection, Diamond Crush. Considering it was sitting next to a display of OPI Grease shades (several years old lol), I had no idea if it was new or old, but I knew I was enchanted by the sparkle and I grabbed one (yup, just one, but I'm pretty sure I'm going back for at least one more, or all of them) 🤭

Turns out they're brand spanking new, and Kelli Marissa just did a swatch video of them a couple of weeks ago, which helped me decide I might need more lol. Best part? They're only $3! For holo!

The one I grabbed today; my camera certainly doesn't do it justice...it's a sparkly beast, in the best possible way ✨

And after I got home and looked up that collection, I started poking around for summer collection info from other brands, and came across these pics, all on polishpick dot com. Morgan Taylor and China Glaze are both available at a few beauty supply online shops, but I haven't found dates for Essie or OPI yet. I'm curious to see more on these...so far nothing screams "must have" to me, but that's subject to change once swatches start hitting!

Oooh, lots of fun colors here @RGbrown! I didn’t realize LA Colors made nail polish. There’s a small store close to where my parents live that carries LA Colors. I’ll have to stop by the next time I’m there, to see if they carry the polishes. Because I clearly need more polishes! 😂

LA Colors' store locator shows WalMart, Dollar General, Family Dollar, and Five Below in my area...I really dunno if all of them will have this particular collection, but if you have any nearby, it's worth a gander! Also available online at HB Beauty Bar (code KELLI gets you 22% off, and they have free shipping at $35 IIRC).

I stopped back by Five Below yesterday and grabbed the black one...not sure how I stopped myself from getting the rest, but I'm happy I showed a little restraint lol

Green: Morgan Taylor You Crack Me Up

Bright green glitter? I'm in! It's fantastically dense, and only took two coats to get full coverage even though it's just glitter in a clear base. 💚

Dark pink: Morgan Taylor Looking For A Wingman

A gorgeous burgundy berry shade, two coats, easy as can be. 

Light pink: OPI N-Iceland

Seemed like it might want to be a little patchy on the second coat, but I went a little thick with it and didn't have to go back with a third.
