help me!!!

For the past couple months i have been using huda light reflecting foundation and lately it had a weird finish. Like it just looks cakey or just not blended in properly not matter what i do! i need help finding something that just sits good on my face and has a clean looking finish whether it is a foundation and skin tint i just need recommendations on how to look clean but yet covered up the blemishes. my skin goes through phases. sometimes i am super dry and sometimes oily! please give me the best advice on everything on what products to use to make it look like i know how to apply makeup properly. it hate how gross i look after a long day of work. i tried the estee launder before and even that looks weird on my face and cakey. i dont know what to do. i feel so un educated about makeup and the right products to use.
