What are the best products and routine to avoid smile lines in foundation?

Hi beauty friends! I have combination, normal-to-oily skin, and I cannot seem to escape these creases in my smile lines. 

I’m looking for recommendations for primers, foundations, setting spray, setting powder, etc. In a perfect world it would be products that have mini sizes, so I can try out a product before committing to the full price.

Is your skin dehydrated? It might be a reason why your smile lines are visible with your foundation

If your foundation separates in the smile lines, put extra primer there and less foundation. The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer 1 oz/ 30 mL  

I would totally look at the line up from the Inkey list or The Ordinary to help with smile lines @Shannonre ,  because applying complexion products would likely emphasize lines.  I've been using the Ordinary's Argireline Serum On my smile lines and I feel they've lessened.

I don't always use powder, especially if it's winter where my skin gives me a break from being overly oily, but setting spray can help in two ways.  You can use it as you would. You can spray some onto a beautyblender or onto your foundation before applying.  You can also use it for touching up.  Most setting sprays meld/melt makeup... Only those with polymers really "set" it.  If my smile lines are prominent, I use a setting spray or mist, so the makeup melts a little and then apply a little bit of concealer and powder foundation, then got it with the spray again.
