@Sunnysmom ,  Nocturnal is quite beautiful , but I’m a tad scared of it turning purple on me . Most brick reds do . I also liked the Sleeping Dragon one from your other swatches . I’m counting the minutes til my Lantern Red arrives . Won’t be til next Wednesday. I’m so impatient 😂😂😂. Ordered it Monday . Shiseido uses Fedex . They’re so slow ! They say it will take a week to get from OH to TN . Oh how I wish Sephora had it on their website. It’s supposed to be a Golden Red . Hopefully no pink or purple in it . Thanks for describing the formula of the others for reference. I’ll definitely check them out cuz those colors are right up my alley . Not sure why it’s so hard to find a red lipstick that has a red undtone , like a crayon red . Most lipsticks that claim to be “true” red are quite pink. I swatch many on white paper to see their true undertone. Thanks again for being the sweetest! You’re truly AWESOME 😘😘😘 I wish I had your beautiful skin tone ! Every color looks so gorgeous on you based on your wrist swatches. Nice tan 😊

@LipFeind (and any others!), here is Shiseido Nocturnal, called brick red which I disagree with a bit tho maybe deeper rust/ almost burgundy, looks darker but great neutral and Slingback, called cherry red. In morning light.☺️ bad pic last night probably. Also tagging @TraceyEB and @Ispend2much6.

@LipFeind You’re so funny and sweet! I’m really not tan, it’s probably just the ongoing Cal skin color lol. I’m probably one of palest So Cal people here I think! 🤣 I’m sorry it’s so tricky for you to find the perfect red! I’m always on the search too clearly tho my reasoning is probably opposite to yours! I’m always looking for perfect blue based reds. (Which I think it probably the issue for you. Reds are usually blue or orange based so ensure you are looking for that orange Vs blue right? The blue base is probably what you are referring to as pink.) Unless you do like blues too and they turn on you, in which case I’m clueless! I’m sure you have investigated all the beautiful Chanel reds- so many good ones in all the color spectrums for you I would think? Maybe someone else with your skin tone will also chime in and help us. ☺️ I hope Lantern Red is perfect! Will be fun to hear! 😘

@Sunnysmom , Haha ! You’re funny and sweet too ! Everyone is tan compared to me . I have a strange undertone too . Blue reds turn purple on me a lot . Orange reds look best . But I like a touch of brown to tone them down . Trouble is , if I apply a brown lipstick on top of an orange red , it turns muddy or purple. When I see a blue based red in the tube , I think it’s stunning. But when I apply it , all I see is purple/Pink. Finding the perfect red has been such a challenge. If I could find a Visionary Lipstick that was the same shade as Mac Chili , I’d be done searching. Since these are geared to the millennial crowd , I may be screwed 😂. I’ve never tried the Chanel Lipstick. I figured they’d be too expensive. I paid $35 for Ellis Faas Blood Red shades . The color is perfect, but the wear time is ridiculous. Comes off in 30 min . I suppose burnt red or burnt orange red is what I’m looking for . I’m toying with the idea of trying Visionary Ginza Red . I’ve seen a couple of swatches on real people that look pretty good . If that fails , I may have to give up on the Visionairy . Thanks a million for all your help ! You’re too awesome. Gonna show my swatches now . Besame Tango Red will be in them . I know you mentioned it earlier 😘 I hope you find your perfect red . If you like cool , dark reds , you might like Besame Blood Red . It pulls purple on me , but might be perfectly on you 😊

@LipFeind I’m so happy to share anything I find that you may like! Yea! I can totally see you liking the GA 403. If you get it maybe just temper it with a balm or something first as it drags a little bit and maybe only a little drying on me. The stain it leaves is very pretty. The GA does not feel at all like either Shiseido formula just fyi. Tho colors are good! You should also look at Shiseido modern matte Nocturnal. It’s a really pretty toned down brick red w some brown to it , called a brick red but it feel like it’s more muted. It’s a really pretty wearable every day shade. I’ll swatch it if enough light now otherwise tomorrow. 😊🤗

@LipFeind I’ll have to check out  Besame Tango. I have others but not that one. This Dior is a blue red tho maybe pic doesn’t show it. Or neutral for sure.  I can’t take decent pics for some of these! Tricky! I’m same! Hate foundation , only tinted moisturizer. Let skin show through I say! 😀
