alright, here it is. use this thread to request swatches. the guidelines are up to you and your needs: single swatches, comparison swatches, specific skin tone swatches

Swatches of some the new holiday stuff from Dior, Hermes, TF and Chantecaille.  Dior lips (both Masquerade tho lipstick is warmer) are both sparkley with the liquid sequin being the one activated by pressing lips together after a bit of letting it set on lips. I didn’t want as much sparkle so I pressed together right away and also used the lipstick over it or a glossier formula. The Dior highlighter is beautiful but firmer in the pan than Hermes which is pure buttery , subtle gorgeousness. Swatch is done lighter and then with a few swipes. The Hermes is more of a wet sheen than Dior which is more of a sparkle. Both lovely in their own way! Dior shades are subtley different- Or is champagne neutral and Corail is more of a rose gold. The TF blush is super pretty. Love that it’s a cooler tone tho looks warmer in their pics. It’s creamy and doesn’t quite dry down but it’s also not sticky and does blend well with other powder blushes or formulas over and under it. Chantecaille’s holiday eye duos are very pigmented! This is a cooler toned taupe, love it. They look so good layered. @blackkitty2014 note the highlighters. 🤩 @WinglessOne here are Dior Masquerade lips.

@Sunnysmom Gorgeous swatches all around. Do you find the Dior liquid sequins super drying? I tried one the other day but had something underneath so it wasn’t too bad. I’m tempted by a few shades. That TF blush duo is gorgeous, too.

Not really @makeitup305 tho I really haven’t worn it on its own either. I had a balm under it once and a creamy lipstick over it the next time. When I first tried it I left it on alone for a little bit only to see how the sparkles came out and it was decently comfy it seemed and not very dry. But again not very long. Pleasant surprise. 🙂 The TF is a very pretty blush!

Gorgeous swatches! I love all the beautiful shades, the masquerade liquid sequin caught my eye immediately I love how it’s purpely-red-pink so cool! I love the shimmer on some of these and matte on others. These highlighters are so pretty I feel like they would create a beautiful glow 🫶❤️ @Sunnysmom

@Sunnysmom  How similar are the new Chantecaille duets to the previous eye shadow duos?  Thanks!

I'm wondering about application, shade intensity, do they travel everywhere or stay in place?

Do you mean the Chrome Luxe duos @Ispend2much6 ? The domed ones? I haven’t had one of those in awhile I don’t think but as I recall they were drier than the new, quite glittery and less pigmented , is that what you find? I will see if I still have one and compare but the new are the same as the Cheetah trio and the same or similar to the Quartets. The new duos have a lot of great pigment and the shimmers are so pretty. The formula is wonderful. They pack on very smoothly , are intense and stay in place. I don’t see any bits flying around at all either. I picked up the medium Jasmine recently as well. Here it is. Probably pretty similar to Cheetah and the quads tho subtle differences. Warmer I think.  But I do love them. I use a cream shadow as primer and this really locked them in.

Thank you so much @Sunnysmom !  I actually love the domed duos, and haven't liked any of the other shadows except for the singles that are available.  I'm just a contrary person I guess!

Thank you! @peculiarzmakeup  they are all really gorgeous creams and I'm liking the new shades a lot. Red Velvet makes a beautiful blush but my favorite so far is Spiced Latte. 🤎
