alright, here it is. use this thread to request swatches. the guidelines are up to you and your needs: single swatches, comparison swatches, specific skin tone swatches

As requested @SurprisedLemur but this is picture heavy so thought it would be best on its own...how do the new palette from Pat McGrath PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership XI Eyeshadow Palette: Sunlit Seduction  4 special shades compare to her older, baked special shades. Cold truth. They don't. 😕😬 but I did find the newer "special" shades to be more pigmented. I swatched each how I personally would wear them ..applied with my finger, but  No primer. Some were hard to photo.. couldn't really catch the shift..

 hope it's not too confusing..

 after looking at them all, these had some that were close/ I wanted to actually swatch & compare 

 PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership II Eyeshadow Palette – Sublime  top right in sublime vr nectar I swatched both pinky shades in sunlit astral pink fetish & astral gilded aura. Aura was the closer of the 2 but chunkier with more gold

 old palette swatches will always be closest to my watch. The baked ones were smoother & had flash. 

 #Pat McGrath mother ship subversive III vr pink looks purple in palette. Vs. Astral amethyst allure . Old one was pink at swatch, smoother & had shift

 PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership V Eyeshadow Palette - Bronze Seduction  rose gold 005 vs. Astral gilded aura 

 rose gold 005 is bottom left 

 astral pink was more pink but I swatched the other shade like the rose gold it was closer but still chunkier. 

 

Pat McGrath decadence didn't have any special glittery shades at all so I didn't swatch anything

#Pat McGrath divine rose 2 smoother shades but none really close so I didn't swatch

 astral was too pink

They are still pretty but not as smooth as the older ones. The new ones do have more of the color pop though. I did see some close shades of the others-especially the mattes but didn't swatch . Hope this helps someone. 🖤

Went on a Swatch Quest at my nearest Sephora's because F&F 😂.  Only thing I couldn't find was haus

 labs lavender haze, which I'll just pull the trigger on at some point.

Pleasant surprises: Big melons, ruby blur

Probably will pass on: Eaze sticks.  Once I went out of the store lighting, it was dry/settling and while 15 looked perfect at first, then looked orange. Raisin standardz, no it's pretty, but a deep plum which can go bruise on my skin tone easily.  She's giving is pretty, but I realize I rarely go for a blue pink blush.

For reference, I'm medium/tan (depends on the brand), with neutral olive undertone.

I placed my F&F order the night (eh, very early morning) the sale went live 😂 and PATRICK TA Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo She's Giving is in it. I plan to get She’s Wanted with my Rouge Reward. I’ve given up on talking myself out of that gorgeous shade, especially after seeing your swatch. And wow, She’s Flushed swatched quite different than I expected it to look. It looks great on your skin tone. 

I almost ordered Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush Big Melons but wanted to swatch it first. It swatched very well on you. Now I might have to get it at Ulta with some of my points. 

And thanks so much for your feedback on Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Eaze Drop Stick Blur + Smooth Tint Stick Foundation ! I was very curious about it and might still swatch a couple shades when I go pick up my F&F order. But oxidation is a no-go since the only place I’d likely use that stick is on the center of my face (to mask surface redness). You may have just saved me some future money.

@WinglessOne, heh, no prob.  I had 5 blushes in my cart and was like, chances are that some of these won't work out.  I gotta swatch since it's one-time only.

R/T She's wanted is so pigmented, 👀 that'll make for an excellent reward.

R/T eaze sticks, the oxidation wasn't great, but what got me was how dry it looked on my hand.  When I think of it, it's much like the Fenty Concealer.  It goes on great and then it settles/ages.  I am kind of disappointed, but yeah some coins saved.

@danielledanielle  Oof, at first I thought “if the Eaze Drop Stick is drying, that’s not so terrible since I’d just be using it on the grease puddle in the middle of my face.” But if it’s drying + oxidizing the same way the Fenty concealer is, then nope. That concealer hurt my feelings. I might not have been curious at all about the Eaze stick if I wasn’t looking for a travel/on-the-go option for that part of my face. Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder - Tinted Primer & Foundation 6 is my current fave, but I never carry it away from home because of its size. I wish Danessa would release all shades of balm powder in a mini size. The Eaze stick looks more conveniently transportable. But yeah, I’ll scratch that off my possibilities list now. Thanks again!
