I have yet to try their shadows, @makeitup305. The aesthetic is so soothing and I do not have a soft gray-blue. Not sure if that is enough of a reason to buy a palette, but it’s the simple truth 🤷🏻‍♀️

@WinglessOne I figured I’d post some thoughts and swatches of the Isamaya Beauty Industrial Palette. Colors are swatched from left to right over MAC Soft Ochre paint pot. This is quite an expensive palette, though I picked it up with a 30% off coupon. Regular price it’s similar to the PMG Motherships, however it doesn’t have that luxe lacquer packaging. Packaging I would compare to NARS (with the exception of the cool if inconvenient front). I like it, I’ll use it, but I don’t think it’s worth the high price tag for me. I prefer shades with more oomph without effort. I hit I the looks can be quite elegant if you don’t like “heavy” formulas on the eyes. 

These colors really come to life in sunlight compared to indoors. They look kind of muted and grungy indoors but direct sunlight makes a big difference. There are quite a few finishes from what I can tell. Initiator is a black cream shade, but is latex-y idk how to explain it. Heat, Whip, Machine, Motor, and Sweat are very thin, silky shades. Sweat’s base blends right into my skin tone so it looks like I swatched nothing. They are mean to be toppers I think. The remind me of Asian eyeshadows that only provide a sparkly sheen to the eye. They might be meant to be layered over the Initiator. Cuprum, Diesel, and Belt are foiled metallics. Grip is an ultra sparkly shade that’s more gritty. It feels more like a celestial shade that has a very dark base. Brass feels liked a cream to powder and I’m not sure if I mixed in some of the other shades by accident but it seems to have some sparkles in it, not a true matte. Finally, Flesh, Feather, and Leather are shimmer shades. I applied theses with a brush (more swipes for the topper shades). You get more payoff with the shimmers and metallics right away if you use a finger and a dragging motion but it doesn’t really work with the topper shades. 

Here I applied the topper shades over a glitter glue. Sweat (up left), Motor (up right), Machine (bottom left), Heat (bottom right)

Beautiful swatches @makeitup305 ! Thank you for them a d your thoughts about the palette. It is true that it looks quite muted in the shade but it looks gorgeous in the sun. 😍

It’ll be interesting to see how some of these shades compare, performance-wise, to something like Viseart’s shimmers which I always find to be thinner than most other brands’—not that I expect the formulas to match, but the payoff might be similar. And that’s not a bad thing.

@WinglessOne glad I was helpful! I think the shimmers could be similar to Viseart for sure. They are more pigmented than in the swatches if I apply them with a finger and some pressure but they have a nice silky feel. The toppers are very silky also but not as pigmented. My order arrived pretty quickly so I can't wait to hear your thoughts.
