Ok interesting  research regarding them. lol 

The velvet lip formula is kind of hard to pin down for me. lol. TF Rouge A Levres is more satiny smooth and TF Satin Matte is also smoother than LE. Somewhat similar to PM Luxe tho LE is dryer and heavier. (PM Matte much dryer). Also quite similar to Bond no 9 and new Gucci satin but not as glossy satin. I actually like Bond 9 better than this LE but still love it. Just different. Smooth upon application but then it does feel a little dry with rich pretty color that stays true.  So it’s somewhere in between. :). Semi matte maybe to me. (Also similar to Shiseido newer mattes). Helpful I hope vs confusing! Anxious to see other colors when rereleased! If you want any dupes I will work on. Think I saw some similarities and I know Temptalia did some as well didn’t she? ( I’m talking about Velvet lip now not new pinks which she also did ). 🙂 🤗😘

@Sunnysmomthat's the best picture I have seen anywhere of the actual texture that looks like fabric. In person I thought these were stunning but none of the pics I saw every really captured it.

Aww thank you so much @lipstick4soul ! I was determined to try and capture it and u r right it’s so tricky to see it as it is. Lol I don’t have the heart to mess that side up! Have you?! Such a cool concept!

@Sunnysmom I have to admit that I have never swatched any of them 😬. I have the original 3 and ordered all 4 new ones (haven’t received them yet). I hadn’t intended to get them just to collect but once the reds sold out so fast I didn’t have the heart to use them. I will if I can get more with the re-release on the 17th. I’ll be wearing skyscraper rose though.

I don’t blame you @lipstick4soul ! They are soooo pretty!  If I hadn’t wanted to use my velvet jazz so badly I wouldn’t have either. I will definitely get backups this time around!

@Sunnysmom I didn’t! I really wanted some but I'm trying to keep myself on a low-buy and I've got so many reds I couldn't justify it to myself. I'm hoping they'll come back later this year, maybe around the holidays?

I hear you @makeitup305 I keep telling myself no more ! And then it goes awry! We don’t need to eat etc really do we?! lol. I think reds are back by end of July! Not sure on pinks yet tho I believe 2 are and maybe she’ll do more because of the demand?Xx

@Sunnysmom, thanks for posting swatches of the summer lipsticks that you ordered. I'm especially enamoured by the Velvet Jazz photo and that gorgeous texture. Let's hope the restock is exactly the same as the previous release!

That’s a bummer @Ispend2much6.  Fyi tho - Love of my Life is more sheer than many regular satin etc I own for instance BB, CT, Chanel. So that formula may work for you , never know. ☺️

@Sunnysmom   Our cc had an unauthorized use last night; someone spent nearly $50 on Dominoes pizza (how is that even possible?)  In the state of GA, no less.

We went through that a few years ago when our insurance company was hacked.  I had hoped that would be the end of it.  We had to shut down that card and will be getting a new one.

I won't be shopping for a few days at least. 😉
