Shiseido eyelash curler VS Sephora

Guys!!! after almost 10 years of use, my Shiseido curler broke.

Its expensive... around almost 40$ (with taxes, Canadian).

My budjet is tight right now, i was looking at other lash curlers, and one of the Sephora ones looks very similar.

The Shiseido have been my fav since the day i tried it, as i always had trouble with Every other curlers.

What do you guy think about the Sephora curlers??

Note: i tried the Shu and didnt like it.

Question/note: i bought the Shiseido almost 10 years ago; i read online that supposedly that the most recent Shiseido curler is a bit different, is that true??

Thank you in advance!!!

Re: Shiseido eyelash curler VS Sephora

I'm not sure which one I purchased, I think the Shu, to my BF yeeeearrrsss ago, and I think she still has it.  Sorry to hear you didn't like it @Emy10

I feel like the Sephora ones do the job/are adequate, but it's luck of the draw when it comes to ergonomics.  I have their false lash  fuser, which is d/c but still available at Sephora at Kohl's, I think.  Japonesque also has a similar one.  That is a handy thing for lashes and curling, it's essentiallyan eye lash curler, but the hinge is in thr opposite direction, so you're pressing down.

I have had other ones, a much older Sephora one, and it was the best...I lost it.  I have a black and red, but I don't use it as much, the hinge doesn't allow the lash pad to come down as much I like.  I also don't curl my lashes as much, but it still does the job.
