I bought the tarte toasted palette 3 months ago and so far it’s been really disappointing and I never wanna use it. So if anyone knows the return policy and if it’s too late please let me know!

I just checked the Sephora return policy and it says you can return or exchange with in 30 days of purchase.

If you have your receipt then you should not have any problem returning it at your local store. Without a receipt it's up to the store to decide if they'll accept it or not. Definitely worth a try!
