Fun thread - are we influenced by our astrological sign/charts when it comes to our makeup aesthetics and skincare - does a common pattern ?

I’ve noticed certain common denominators with some of my friends.  They gravitate to certain colours and looks, perfume, nail polish etc.  I’ll start for fun.  Sun sign is Libra, Moon in Scorpio, ascendant in Taurus.  Just for giggles my friends had me get my charts done many moons ago and the lady needed to actually see my birth certificate because she refused to believe I was a Libra.  According to her I had too much earth and water in my chart.  Hmmm ... Colour I’m scared of is pink especially eyeshadows I like them but approach with caution.  Green eyeshadow I can’t get enough of ❤️❤️

@2manyperfumes Thanks for posting this was very interesting. I’m a Capricorn Sun Pisces Moon Gemini Ascending. I agree with the Capricorn and Pisces but the Gemini rising doesn’t sound like me at all. I did learn some cool facts about people who share my sun and moon though: Michelle Obama, MLK, Elvis, Ben Franklin, and Edgar Allan Poe.

Thank you @lnum ❤️  That is really interesting to find out who had the same similar charts, I love Michelle Obama.  Very interesting about Edgar Allan Poe.  Cool.  Elvis and MLK.  Public services and generosity.  Gemini rising?  Another interesting one.  My aesthetics are a real mix of all three signs.  Very confusing for me .

@2manyperfumes My background is in education and now I work at a nonprofit, so it was really weird to see the overlap in famous people. I have a dry sense of humor and have always admired Poe’s work, the darkness in it, so that was weird for me too! Elvis is just a bonus haha!

This Muerte palette really speaks to my a Libra sun and my Scorpio moon.  In fact both palettes in the Melt collection are the ying/yang I gravitate towards.

I researched Sagittarius traits after purchasing the Bite Beauty lipstick of the same name. I’m an Aquarius, but I find that I have many of the same traits like speaking candidly, being independent, and often being impatient haha! Anyways, thought I’d share a pic of me wearing Sagittarius with you guys on this thread. I thought that the colors Bite chose for Sag and Aquarius pretty good. I love aquarius people by the way. I have my moon and venus on Aquarius 🙂

Oh that's beautiful! @Guessgal I'm aries and some traits of mine are accurate while others are not at all, I don't particularly care for the aries color that bite has established for me 😆

@lmaster  Oh yeah I totally get that predetermined shades don’t work for everyone. I was very fond of the shade Bite picked for Aquarius tho. It was a very beautiful magenta with a slight purple hue to it. Unfortunately, it was the first one in the collection so it sold out like mad and I never got my hands on it (*mini sigh haha)

It’s a vibrant, lively pink shade @Guessgal 🥰 yes Sagittarius and Aquarius are fun loving wild and impatient lol.  I have quite a few Aquarius friends and not knowing something can drive them bananas.  They are extremely curious.  I noticed they were drawn to bright, happy shades.

I agree it’s fun @lmaster - did you find it from those reader charts online.  They are pretty darn accurate ❤️ Aries is fire, Virgo is an earth sign and Pisces is a water sign.  There’s balance when there are signs with different elements.  Mine are too much earth lol.

Share your lipstick faves and colours that frighten you lol.  Fave shadows or palettes.  Eg. do you only wear nude lipsticks?  Do you rock reds?  Do you like completely unique shades.  I’ve grouped just the zodiac inspired eye shadow looks only in this part.  I have hooded eyes so good luck trying to see those shadows lol.
