@CookieGirl1, I'm surprised I finished it - even if it took quite a while - it's done, and lots of lessons learned along the way. There's been so many fabulous empties from everyone on this thread, yourself included; it's wonderful to find motivation to keep at it here and on other threads, like the Pan It! - 2025 Challenge and Foil Challenge - good to have those resources for accountability and encouragement.

@lmaster, thank you. It feels like 2024 was a good year for folks here for working through what we have - yaaay!! You did an amazing job with some products that take a great deal of time to use up. I'm looking forward to seeing what we all do this year! Do you have goal for your empties this year - a numbers goal or another benchmark you're looking to accomplish?

@lmaster, I’ve never set a target goal for my empties based on numbers. For this year, it would be great to see more full size empties and more perfume empties - not necessarily the larger full sizes but more empties of the sample vials as I seem to have accumulated more than I thought 😬 - they seem to pop up everywhere around the house. I’m constantly finding ones and thinking “when did I get this?” 😆 

You always do so well with your empties goals.

Amazing job with your empties I like how you assess it’s fit for you! The beauty blender looks so cool and seeing that it’s a repurchase I’m looking into it I need to switch it up a little with brushes and beauty blenders! Beautiful work! @itsfi

@peculiarzmakeup, I can get so fixed on using a certain tool (brush, beauty sponge, fingers) that I forget other ones, but it's something I'm trying to work on more as I'm going through my foundation and skin tints. It's great to have a good mix to pull from - some products work better with one type of tool than others. The Sonia Kashuk blender sponge is a good one - not too soft, not too firm.

@CorgiMommy, thank you. I spend a good amount of time on trying to get my thoughts together on a product; appreciate the feedback. Since making more of an effort to be more attentive to my beauty buys and using the beauties I do have, it's been a lot of fun to see the products I do have in action a lot more - and to see them used up.

Thank you @Mel231; working through what I had last year really helped with no / low buys and gave me a better idea of which products I really enjoy using and which ones are just okay or good, but not great. Ahhh, I love candles. Was there one in particular that caught your eye?

@itsfi Great year of empties and declutters! Congratulations on getting through some items in the pan it challenge! Do you use the blender sponge dry or wet (or both)?

@Mellmars1185, last year was a good pan year; hoping for another good year this year 🤞 but that will mean making progress on pan products and not necessarily hitting pan. All good; most of the products are new or lightly used going into the year so I don't expect any full pan on those items. 

I use the blender sponge wet and dry but last year, I mainly used setting sprays so the beauty sponge was primarily used with liquid foundation.

 ⬆️ Good but won’t repurchase.

 ⬆️ Foot mask was ok but not moisturizing enough. I didn’t like the scent of the Fresh cleanser. Color wow is good but sticky. Laneige eye mask felt weird and didn’t absorb well for me. The TJ body butter scent was terrible.
