I'm tagging some BICers but please feel free to participate or tag anyone!

@JoSometimes that blush is a beautiful color, I have to go check it out in store to see if it works for me.
@CorgiMommy I love this one for everyday looks. It’s perfect for adding a bit of life back into my complexion after foundation. I hope the colour works for you too!
@JoSometimes I hear you on 7. I got the $100 Rouge reward just to get the new DM palette. I decided last minute it’s not what I need and bought other stuff with it.
@SportyGirly125 So many people picked that one up and I’m scared I’ll be missing out on something special. I still have a ways to go before 2500 points, so I have some time to think.
Oooh I'm excited for you and the possibility of you acquiring Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork V: I Am Palette For Eyes And Face. The Rouge Reward really does take some of the pressure of the wallet. 😉
I'm not surprised to see Tower 28 Beauty Tower 28 x Kung Fu Panda 4 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray 4 fl.oz. / 120 mL on your list.😉 Your skin has had a good year!
#5 + #8 is all the feels. Look how far you've come and your doing and wearing the things you want with confidence In male and female mode. 🙌🥳 It's beautiful to see. I'm so amazed by you!
Thank you @CynthieLu! It’s been a great year. 2022 was my skincare year where I went from water as a cleanser to a full multi-step routine. 2023 was my makeup year, from once a month if I was lucky to almost everyday as long as my skin would allow it. Not sure about 2024, thought I suspect maybe a hair year. I’m due for a haircut soon and I’m really hoping it’s finally long enough to style.
I’m on the fence about that palette though. I love the colours but working into my daily routine is the tricky part. I still wanna get that rouge reward at least once though. It would be another major accomplishment.
Rouge Rewards have some rules and restrictions @JoSometimes if you haven't heard yet. *Sorry if you have* No returns, use within 60 days ( I think 🤔) etc..
If I'm using one, I want too make sure it's on something I'm going to love.
I really love mine and it's incredibly fun and playful. DM designed this one to have more everyday wear ability, but it is a bright a colorful piece.
Ahhh 2024, the year of your hair journey. That sounds fun and exciting 😀 I hope you get to the length you need soon!
@JoSometimes TouchInSol has an eye primer? I had no idea...but now I need to go check it out.
(Please excuse the messy cabinet.)
@CookieGirl1 I found it at Marshall’s along with their face primer. I’ve only tried two primers (not including concealer as a primer) but this one is miles above. The other one was from NYX. I could never get it to work the way I was expecting. I tried applying eyeshadow directly onto it, waiting a bit, setting it with translucent powder first but no matter what I tried, I always had splotchiness.
@JoSometimes I haven't ever found my perfect eye primer but you honestly have me intrigued!
@CookieGirl1 If you end up wanting to give it a try, I hope you’re able to find it. This was a Marshall’s find for me and it was slim pickings when I looked again today.
1) Your favorite purchase of the year- why?
ND Yucca since it’s not a palette I normally go for. I actually ended up really liking it.
2) A purchase you regret- why? Anything that was purchased at full price.
3) Most expensive purchase- was it worth the money? Pureology hair care, Dior Addict Beauty set, CDP concealers. Not beauty related my Pilates teacher training.
4) Most hyped product you bought- was it worth it? Westman Atelier liquid super loaded and Armani beauty blushes. Totally worth it.
5) Did you spend less, the same, or more than other years? The same. Except the last quarter when I got laid off. I definitely had to spend less.
6) Rediscovered loves or underrated/underhyped makeup discoveries Tom Ford Terra bronzer, JLo star filter in pink champagne
7) A product you missed out on, or haven't bought yet, but really want Dyson airstrait
8 ) Did your makeup routine change in any way? Not really
9) What makeup trend do you think will be big next year? Glowy, fresh, bronze skin with colored lip tint
10) What was your favorite body product or fragrance? Bath and Body Works Neroli Blossom and bergamot, Leanne Grace Dream Body Cream Waves of Grace, and SDJ Bikini Season
@SportyGirly125 #2 - ain’t that the truth. Sure, I enjoy most of my full-price-purchased items and managed to minimize the amount of those (I normally do every legal thing I can to avoid paying full boat for things), but the cost still stings, especially with all the greedflation still going on.
I’d say I hope you succeed with your pilates teacher training and (I assume) certification, but I already know you will. 🙂 Seriously, there’s no doubt in my mind or gut about that. ❤️
@SportyGirly125 the answer to number 2 is how we all secretly feel. Hope you find your dream job soon.
Pilates training must be so rewarding @SportyGirly125 ✨
I've been let go from jobs before, it's not easy. I'm so impressed with how you took a difficult situation and turned it into a positive opportunity. That's amazing!
And yes strongly to #2. 😉
@CynthieLu Thank you.
I have never not had a job or really a break for the last 22 years since I graduated high school. it was so weird the last 3 months. In the end, this will be better because my hours are more flexible and I’ll be able to go on vacation whenever I want. I’m not the one to be a stay at home Mom or housewife, I need to be busy and learning. It’s definitely way different from what I graduated college with. Let this show that at 40 you can start your career over.
Yes to that! @SportyGirly125 💕 There are no limits to what you can do or achieve. You are so inspiring, I love your attitude and motivation to follow your own course.
I wish you all the luck in your new and exciting path. 🍀
@CynthieLu Thank you. The last 3 months of learning a new trade have been so much fun. I have observed so many different people as well as studied so much anatomy. I am using it to strengthen and educate my own immediate family. I get to bring my Mom into the studio when she is ready and I can’t wait.
I am also amazed that so many people need to be educated on breath and using their core in daily life.
