2018 Beauty Top 10

Happy New Year, Y'all!   I cannot believe 2018 is coming to a close tonight! 

I wanted to share my Top 10 Beauty Products of 2018 and I hope you'll share yours, too!

O.k.... I know it's more than 10, but I have a few ties. 😉 These may not all have been released in 2018, but they were new to me this year.

1. Best Eyeshadow Palette:  Natasha Denona Gold Palette and Pat McGrath Mothership V Bronze Seduction - I seriously could not choose between these and I love both of these brands and women so much! 

2. Best Highlighter:  ABH x Amrezy.  Hands down.  Best. Highlighter. Ever.

3.  Best Lipstick:  This one was a 3 way tie for me - ABH Liquid Lipstick in Dolce (I love pretty much all my ABH Lippies), Gourmande Girls Liquid Lipstick in Desire (My fave indie brand) and Sephora Lip Stories in All Washed Up (for sentimental reasons because it reminds me of the fun we had at Sephoria) - My all time fave lipsticks are PMG Matte Trance, and I got several this year,  but I totally forgot to include them in my list (whoops)

4.  Best Lip Savior:  Sara Happ Lip Slip - I cannot tell you how much I love this stuff!

5.  Best Perfume:  It's a tie between Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia (this is my all time fave perfume ever - I have had people follow me down 3 escalators to ask what I'm wearing, stop me in the hall at work and on the street, ask to sniff me in the bathroom at a restaurant [true story!!!!]) and Killian Princess (a new fave I discovered at Sephoria)

6.  Best Body Shimmer:  Fenty Fairy Bomb Shimmer Powder in any shade - you can wear this all over and the sparkle is so real!

7.  Best Hair Product:  Olaplex 3 - OMG!  This has really helped me on the journey to making my hair healthy again!

8.  Most Beautiful Product:  This is a tie between Dolce & Gabbana Blush Rosa Duchessa in Provocative 40 and Rodin Luxury Illuminating Powder in Siren - These are perhaps the most beautiful pieces of art I have in my makeup collection!

9.  Cutest Product:  Sephora x Museum of Ice Cream Sprinkle Brush Set - I mean, just look at it! ❤️

10.  Best Skin Care:  Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask - Smells lovely, looks lovely and does wonders for my skin

• Top Perfumes: Hermes' Agar Ebene and Malle's Music for a While
• Top skincare: The Ordinary's Organic Virgin Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil
• Top lipstick: Fenty's Mattemoiselle in Shawty, this might have been released Dec 2017, cannot remember
• Top lipcare: BITE's Sweet Treats Party Prep set
• Top blush: Jouer's Adore Blush duo

All I can think of off the top of my head! It's especially hard for me to remember releases from January to April 😛

I love Sea Buckthorn in hair products, but I haven’t tried it in skin care yet - Sounds good!

And the Jouer blush duos are on my list - I plan to try those this year!💗

@Tamara76, I haven't tried the sea buckthorn on my hair yet but can recommend it for skin 🙂 My only warning is that it's heavily pigmented. It's a bright orange that will temporarily stain your skin orange so I only put it on at night or dilute the heck out of it! It can stain your clothes too so be careful. The stuff is so full of beta-carotene, it actually smells like carrots 🥕🥕🥕

I'm so ready to close the door on 2018 and focus on making 2019 everything that I want it to be.  While there were a lot of lows, I've found some things I couldn't imagine my life without some of them are even new beauty favorites.  😉

Black Opium is my fave winter scent - love it!!!!!!  And ABH x Amrezy highlighter is my all time fave!  I am also totally in love with the Latte palette!

@Tamara76  I like Safari a lot more than I thought I would. I wasn't interested when we first saw the sneak peeks but as more pics showed up I liked it more... and even more now that I have it. A bit disappointed in the performance of a few shades though. 😞

I love the Hourglass unlocked palette sooooo much!   I also got a ds of the Sand & Sky mask in a recent Ipsy and it is awesome!!!!  And I agree that Stunna Lip Paints have an incredible formula, plus Uncensored is probably the best red lipatick I have ever used!
