Aw, thanks @Sunnysmom!  I seriously doubt anyone here would negative judge your total lipstick collection. Heck, I’ve seen some BICers’ hoards that are larger than mine, so I know I’m in safe company here. 😂 I do understand not wanting to show everything though. 

And I know I’ve said this before but: anyone can wear any unconventional lipstick color they want. Seriously, you wanna try wearing a teal? Wear that teal! Wanna ombre red > orange > yellow on your lips? Go for it! All the pretty colors are available for ANYONE to play with. Also, blue denim’s still a neutral in the clothing world, so think of a denimy blue lipstick the same way. Jet black is the ultimate goes-with-everything lipstick shade. Just sayin’. 😉 

Folks who don’t wanna spend money on unconventional lip shades (because they worry they won’t work on them) but do have some colorful Danessa Myricks Beauty Colorfix - Multi-Use Eye, Cheek & Lip Waterproof Liquid Pigment Valentine (can’t tag ‘em without picking a specific shade) can play around with color mixes and combos on their lips. Just add in a tiny bit of Aquaphor or CeraVe Healing Ointment to get a creamier consistency. That’s a fun exercise to try at home, just to see how various colors work out. 

Heh, we’ll reduce those reds. Eventually. 🤣

Great suggestions @WinglessOne ! Thanks for your empathy too! I’ll have to figure out a good shot of them someday. Maybe after I go through some more of em! 😆 I was totally obsessed with trying to make the first foresty green lip work that Bite did back in the day. It did nothing for my teeth so I gave up. Lol. Blue was a bit better. I love denim blue idea as well! Silver can also be fun! DM does make a good case for different options. Aquaphor makes everything better , everywhere! 😀 Totally makes mattes so much more comfy esp if a mistake purchase is made! Never. Not here. Lol ( and last resort before a declutter too sometimes! )

heh, @peculiarzmakeup , cruella was a gorgeous blue tone red available from Nars.  It was in a duo set once as a birthday gift, and I regard that as pretty much the best birthday gift from Sephora ever.  Nars discontinued the velvet matte line, but cruella was reborn as a NARS Powermatte High-Intensity Long-Lasting Lip Pencil Cruella - 185  .  I've swatched the power matte, nice but not the same.
