Love your lists @cianni, thanks for sharing with us! I  know you were such a beautiful bride plus wearing Dior! 😍 I think some of my very favorite lips are some of my very first purchases. If they still make them that is. Grr. Lol. I have the Fenty lip liner (in MVP) on my list too!

I will pull out some faves one day soon if I have time. But, seems Iike as good a place as any to post these swatches of MAC Fleshpot which I knew I had and pulled from the archives, since I’ve been seeing the hype around the 40th Anniversary re-release. 

Anyway, turns out I had two fleshpots, one labeled Satin A53 and one labeled AA0. The new one looks super peachy and darker. This one is like straight up concealer! Looks absolutely hideous on me. Though maybe I need to try with a full face of makeup and see if I can make it look decent on me haha.

I really love these Mac shades! I always find it so neat to see what company’s do for anniversary’s, it would be fun to start an anniversary collection! If I were to remember lol, beautiful swatches 💕💄 @sister13

Yes! I was just looking at a 15th anniversary lip gloss set I have from Bite that’s I never opened. They’re not around anymore, maybe I should open it, haha. I didn’t think to post it here since it’s gloss and not lipstick. I wonder if there’s a nation lipgloss day! @peculiarzmakeup

Ooo neat thought, I looked it up online haha I think they just group it in with lipstick day because that’s all I found. That is really amazing though, anniversary products are always so unique 🫶 @sister13

You’re too kind @sister13 , I am sure your collection is so amazing!🥰 I would  love to see any anytime. You’re really busy I know! ☺️ I think we share many favs! This is so interesting. I saw they re-released some of their 90’s cool shades!  I’ve not seen this one. Isn’t that something that they changed it. Boo. But I’m sure if anyone can wear it tho you can. I think it’s so impossible to pull off both reds and deep shades and light shades like you do. Lucky! On a separate note I really wish MAC and others would just throw us a bone and re-release some of our other favorites. The ones that got away and or we didn’t get back ups?! Sad! 🤣 Now that would be an amazing National Lipstick Day gift! Lol I’d probably be afraid for my wallet tho. 😭

I follow Erin Parsons Makeup and she does a lot of content with vintage makeup, etc. But a few people have posted about Fleshpot specifically but it sold out so fast. There were a few others in the re-release but I didn’t have those. But there were some cool other shades I did have that I’ll search and post soon. Not for anyone who is worried about expired makeup, lol! @Sunnysmom

Beautiful pictures, @Sunnysmom! I’ve had a heck of a time trying to log in. I keep having to delete my browser history and start over again. I haven’t taken a picture but I will, I’ve been decluttering my old lipsticks little by little so they fit in my container better now!

I’ll have to come back later with a few new photos of favorites. But for now, I’ll just link to my lipstick post the 2022 Makeup Inventory thread to show what my full bullet collection looked like 2 years ago. And since I consider gloss to also be lipstick, here’s my post in that same thread showing my liquid lipsticks as of 2022. 

Some of you know I love “unconventional” lipstick shades, especially blues and teals. Picking my favorite blues is hard, but my favorite teals are still ColourPop Lux Getty and Gucci Velvet Matte Lipstick 704 Valentine Verdante. Narrowing down my favorite purples will be a challenge. And reds, well… oh boy. 😅 

My lipstick hoard hasn’t shrunk much since 2022. It’s grown instead, and I still haven’t finished my Reckoning of Reds because it’ll probably take me a long time to declutter any of ‘em. But yeah, I’ll pull together some favorites and post ‘em here later. 🙂

Aw, thanks @haleyvvvv ! I’m still setting up a separate piece of furniture for my lipstick hoard, and that’s been very slow-going (along with getting the rest of my cosmetics moved to their new home). Eventually I’ll share some in-progress photos. Eventually. 😅

Hi! Gucci has a glow and care lip balm I think it’s called and they have a purple shade that you might like, just a suggestion.

@GlitterGirl10  Thanks for the suggestion! Is it Gucci Glow & Care Shine Lipstick 402 Vantine Fucshia? I don’t have that shade, but I do have a different one from the Glow & Care line and I’m not quite sure how I feel about the formula yet. I am a sucker for fuchsia, though. 😅 

I love Gucci’s matte and satin lipsticks, as well as their metallic Gothique lipsticks and some of their sheer lipsticks. Anne Lilac is one of my favorite purples.

Thanks @peculiarzmakeup ! What I pair Valentine Verdant (assuming that’s the teal you’re talking about) with depends entirely on my mood that day. 😅 Sometimes I just wear lipstick, blush, a little concealer in my hollow tear troughs + a tiny bit of powder to set it, and maybe mascara or colorful eyeliner(s) if my eyes aren’t in allergy or infection mode. I’ve also worn that lipstick with eyeshadow, usually something fairly simple like a smokey eye since Valentine Verdant wants to be the star of the show.

( I am too afraid to open my drawers to the world I fear! 🥹 I’ve done the organizing in different ways too- by brands or color families. Ended up by brand so I don’t rebuy same darn favorite shades. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not smart. Think I’m in denial to pull them truly all together in any pic. Then I can stay in that state! Lol ) I  love your stash so much. Your ability to wear all the unconventional shades is beyond us all. Just the best. I think the blues on you are my fav too , well except the reds of course. I share your challenge in reducing my stuff. Some, but never enough despite the best intentions. I agree, glosses and liquids def count. No quibbling there! Will be so fun to hear your latest thoughts and see favs/HGs. 😊
