Sephora Six - Fast & Furious Edition

So, I've been challenging myself to do a full-ish face in about six minutes.  Have not succeeded yet ‌😭‌‌😅‌, so I'm looking to BIC for some tips to get past the finish line.

I want to know six products, any category, you use to get that quick glam.  Bonus if it includes skincare.  Double bonus if you've timed yourself and it's less than 7 minutes (if you include skincare, 10-15 min).

Under 10 minutes with skincare? That’s spectacular @peculiarzmakeup ❣️ I love your finished look - Hope is my favorite shade in that RB line; it’s beautiful and adds such a lovely flush to the cheeks. Yes to the Dior waterproof mascara - it’s really good! Makes your eyes pop. 

Sorry you felt frazzled. 😞 I’m not usually late to things but it seems to always be a rush most mornings to get myself out the door so I think for me, I’ve gotten used to that frazzled feeling. 😬 I’ve also been doing my morning makeup very quickly for so long that I just know that if I have a base and lip color that work for me within easy reach, along with an eyelash curler and mascara, I’m all good. Anything else I can add to my face before I absolutely have to get out the door is extra. 😝

So yesterday was a flop, but still a learning experience.  I took 9 minutes on my makeup.  This didn't include skincare.  Not bad, but not ideal.

Well, what happened?

1. Couldn't time myself because my phone wasn't charged, so not cognizant of time between steps
2. Great interruptor has become Mr. Unpredictable, which I'm usually prepared for the interruption, but not so many random ones
3. I detracted from what usually works because I was off

@danielledanielle, I think you are being too hard on yourself. 5-10 minutes for makeup is great! But I get it. It’s the challenge part of it! Still, I think you did great.

Eyeliner. I’m super impressed with those of you who included it in your look. If the challenge was makeup look in 15 minutes or less, I could do eyeliner - 5 for each eye and then 5 for the rest of my face. 😆

@peculiarzmakeup, that's very kind .  I read your submission and I am glad you had a fun (even if frazzled) experience.  The time crunch is a part of the fun for me, it's a gamifying technique.

The idea of this thread was initially for me to shave off time in the am, so that I can "have my cake and eat it, too!"  I started to figure it out, hence some of my replies hint at practice.  I was conflicted between the practice of putting on makeup and being ready for the day, but having less time to devoted to makeup.  Makeup for me is actually a very calming , soothing thing, so while I could just skip it, I felt kind of upset.    But, then I thought it would be a fun idea and I saw @sister13 had a week close to this in Re: Makeup Challenge of the Week 2021/2022/2022 and is usually down for a collab.  And @itsfi is super insightful and adapting Capsule Makeup Collection Challenge constantly so we all have fun with it ..so it must be fated!  This could be both a fun thing and a compendium of ways to achieve a makeup look that is still gorgeous, but a shortened time so that way no one felt as I felt.

Yesterday’s 4.5 minute face - no cheating, even I was impressed with myself! Some of the stuff was still out from the day before, but also new items, including a random Marc Jacobs nude lipstick, one of very few nudes that works on me. I was rushing for a zoom call at 11, haha, cutting it a little close. The pic I of my face is from after the call though.
