Spoiler

General information:

Spoiler
  • The Rewards Bazaar is supposed to have new point perks released on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 am and 5pm PST
  • There is no set time for the perks to be released - we have to wait and see when they become available between 9 and 5
  • However, so far the rewards have been released almost exactly around 9 am PST
There seem to be only a few perks added at a time (each day)
  • Some perks will be listed as "coming soon" and may arrive on a later date
  • The newly added perks will range from 100 points to 50,000 points
Sephora's T&C state that the larger perks (750 points +) are only available online
  • The smaller 100-500 point perks are available in store, while supplies last There are limited quantities of the perks available
  • We aren't sure why the rewards seem to appear on different devices/browsers at different times There may not be any "big" point perks added.
  • Some days we may only see smaller 100, 250, or 500 point perks added.
  • Updated Terms & Conditions (as of August 16, 2016):

  • Previews are above - note that these are just sneak peeks, as we do not have complete details as to which perks will be available, when, or what's included.
  • Additional perks usually pop up as a surprise!

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

A fine line I know, but I do view this as promoting gambling which doesnt sit well with me. Its a mugs game and not really something Sephora should be offering to young and impressionable customers, but sadly I guess thats why theyre doing it. 😕

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

You could enter in the contest without spending any points, if you mail in:

"To enter without redeeming Beauty Insider Points, hand print your
name, address, Sephora Beauty Insider member number, day and evening phone numbers, email address associated with your Beauty Insider account, and date of birth on a 3" x 5" piece of paper"

I don't know if this means we can send in 100 envelopes for 100 entries??

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

I was wondering that also...

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

This is literally just a ploy to get people to spend their points and hopefully balance the scales some. Besides I can only afford like 5 entries, you know some people will put in hundreds. Lol

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

I learned my lesson.  Couple years back, Sephora has a sweepstake for 25 points for up to 10 days or something liked that for a chance to win a trip to Paris.  I remember thinking what i got to loose ... only 250 points in total ... big deal.  The issue was Sephora never announced the winner.  So NO THANK YOU.  Even if it is only 10 points, a winner needs to be announced .... otherwise it's just another marketing scam.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

I also entered that one and nobody won, but my points weren’t returned, they just scammed me. So when I got this I was like, how unethical. This should be free.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

yeah, they should change it to "who wants to get rid of those points you can never use!!!???"

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

Heck no...I earned these points fair and square and I am bloody well going to cash them in. I don't care if it takes all year, I am redeeming these points on SOMETHING I WANT!

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

yeah I'd also like to know who's entering...lol 🙂

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

What's with the thing about Canadians having to answer a "mathematical-skill-testing" question? Is that a lottery loophole?

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

@fieldsofclover it's a legal requirement for all giveaways that are considered 'games of chance' in Canada. It's a pretty silly and antiquated law, IMO.

You don't have to get the answer right, you just have to provide them with an answer. 😄

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

@fieldsofclover @Mochapj @veronika23  I remember doing a skill testing question over the phone when I won a dress from a Guess sweepstakes a couple years back. Didn’t know that you don’t have to answer it correctly! Wonder what’s the purpose of administering it then 🤔

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

@Guessgal it's just a loophole in the law that allows businesses to run sweepstakes legally.

Technically the government bans all for-profit gaming/betting (that isn't run by the government) but by adding a skill testing question, it sort of gives the appearance of a sweepstakes being a 'game of skill' rather than a game of chance.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

@Mochapj @Guessgal I won a trip to Vegas on a radio station a few years back, I had to answer a mathematical question, got it wrong, still got my trip. So yeah, any answer works.

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

@GG84  @Mochapj  @Guessgal  I didn't know your answer could be wrong either. Cool. Even if it was a while back... congrats on winning awesome stuff ladies!

Re: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

@fieldsofclover  that's a contest rule in Canada... I don't remember all the details of it though. I just know pretty much all sweepstakes have that.

RE: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

I have a question. I got an email today saying the new NARS rewards had dropped. Checked online and in the app nothing is available but there is only a few of each according to the email. I always miss out it seems and really want to grab on is these.

Re: RE: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

@whitechelsea - Sorry for the confusion! The reward is not sold out and the team in charge of rewards is working to make it available as soon as possible.  We recommend checking back Thursday morning!

Regards,

Kevin

Re: RE: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

When I was refreshing the rewards page at 11:40 AM EST today, it already popped up in the reward page and said the NARS rewards were sold out... and at noon est, everything was still showing as sold out

Re: RE: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

Same, I refreshed the second it turned 9 (pst) and it was already sold out... i get there's only 5 of them but not sure how that's possible lol

Re: RE: Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

I read in previous comments below that they accidentally released it Tuesday so was sold out then 😞 For such a popular brand/reward, you think they'll have more quantity of it
