Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

A thread for updates on the Rewards Bazaar, including previews of upcoming rewards and discussion regarding the upcoming rewards and questions.

New rewards are posted on Tuesdays and Thursdays - usually right around 9 am PST / 12 pm EST

General information:

• The Rewards Bazaar is supposed to have new point perks released on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 am and 5pm PST
• There is no set time for the perks to be released - we have to wait and see when they become available between 9 and 5
• However, so far the rewards have been released almost exactly around 9 am PST
  There seem to be only a few perks added at a time (each day)
• Some perks will be listed as "coming soon" and may arrive on a later date
• The newly added perks will range from 100 points to 50,000 points
  Sephora's T&C state that the larger perks (750 points +) are only available online
• The smaller 100-500 point perks are available in store, while supplies last There are limited quantities of the perks available
• We aren't sure why the rewards seem to appear on different devices/browsers at different times There may not be any "big" point perks added.
• Some days we may only see smaller 100, 250, or 500 point perks added.

Seriously, the rewards can be the most frustrating thing ever. I had my cart all queued up, was logged in and ready to go when the Tarte Quench primer was released. I added it, hit place order and then it kicked me out saying my cart 'wasn't up-to-date. So I removed the Quench and went to place my order again & it kicked me out again saying it wasn't up-to-date. This time it was the Amika Soulfood that was out of stock. 

The rewards should be like ticket sales. If you have it in your basket, it will reserve the products for 5 mins, giving you time to complete your order before it kicks you out. Obviously, I love the rewards but hate that I wasted time refreshing and waiting just to get booted out when I wasn't slow at checking out by any means.

@ZSahar I was curious too! When I zoomed in on the product picture from the bazaar it seems to say ”15ml” on the bottle, so I’m assuming that’s the size. I picked up the YTTP superfoods moisturizer as a 100pt reward a while back and it was also 15ml so it would be consistent

I find everything I want is sold out. Any advice

Quit your job and wait exactly 12:00 pm for the reward to drop on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Be super quick meaning 3-10 second window to get the reward you want. Any more time and the 5 rewards Sephora offers to millions of people logging in for similar purpose, will be sold out. You might have to repeat this stage for a couple of weeks to get your natural responses tuned and fingers in shape. Note: Also be mentally prepared that even if you do get a reward, you can get a sold out notice email . If you have problem with anger, make sure you make an appointment for an anger management session as soon as your order goes through to deal with frustration as these stages can take anywhere for 2 to 6 months and a sold out email can really can be the last straw. **** this comment was meant to be mocking Sephora @mackaroon. I freaking hate their reward system. Good luck because I have given up on them !!!!****

@pari79, seriously I thought I wrote this post! Haha it’s exactly how I feel about this rewards system. I was actually dumb enough to set my alarm for the 9am release for a few weeks straight just to think I got the rewards because it was available until I tried to check out! Never again for me, I just get the 100 points ones that are always available.

I agree! Don't even wait 2 seconds or they will be gone! And how in the world can you reach the amount of points to get a huge reward? I buy so much and I can't get even get to 1,000.00! Why, because they take your points away and monies you spend are not correct! So, I would keep checking how many points you have as frequently as you can! I'm ready to quit Sephora completely! Even my Play! Subscription! It's been awful what the reps have done in the last few days to me ( by calls and emails) I called re: the Play! And they said that everyone got the wrong boxes since January 2019! Is that our fault? I know this is not in a Play! By Sephora discussion group, but if anyone is wondering why they are not getting the correct items in their boxes that is what I was told by Amanda at customer service today! I think in my opinion, the reason for all of Sephora 's mistakes are they are focusing on their new credit card that is coming in a few months, per a press release on March, 14 2019! And don't tell them you're disabled as they treat you horrible! My 10 cents on all of their problems, how 😢!!!!**** pari79! There is so much more problems  happening with Sephora but I don't or can't say what per my conversation 's with Sephora and their privacy terms!

And even if it’s available, you need to be super duper quick to check out! Happens to me too many times, it’s available to add to my cart but then when I press checkout, it says it’s OOS. Even worst when I’m able to checkout and then get an email saying it’s OOS. Pretty crazy, I just stick to 100 points rewards. 🤪

Rewards often (not always) go up on the hour, Pacific time. So check around midnight, just before 10am (1pm Eastern), etc.

No. I actually only use the webpage on my laptop to get rewards like this. I find that it’s the fastest way to grab a reward that has limited quantities.
