Sephora Rewards Bazaar Previews and Discussions

A thread for updates on the Rewards Bazaar, including previews of upcoming rewards and discussion regarding the upcoming rewards and questions.

New rewards are posted on Tuesdays and Thursdays - usually right around 9 am PST / 12 pm EST

General information:

• The Rewards Bazaar is supposed to have new point perks released on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 am and 5pm PST
• There is no set time for the perks to be released - we have to wait and see when they become available between 9 and 5
• However, so far the rewards have been released almost exactly around 9 am PST
  There seem to be only a few perks added at a time (each day)
• Some perks will be listed as "coming soon" and may arrive on a later date
• The newly added perks will range from 100 points to 50,000 points
  Sephora's T&C state that the larger perks (750 points +) are only available online
• The smaller 100-500 point perks are available in store, while supplies last There are limited quantities of the perks available
• We aren't sure why the rewards seem to appear on different devices/browsers at different times There may not be any "big" point perks added.
• Some days we may only see smaller 100, 250, or 500 point perks added.

@GG84   No clue! But some people do because those trip go fast! If you've been shopping at Sephora for years and almost never spend your points and spend a good amount of money here it's definitely achievable. I don't think I will come close to that even if I do have a lot of points...  Just wish we could go back to the days where points had more value. One year... I think the first year they had these big rewards there was a Paris trip with MUFE for 10K points. They had some really nice full size sets for 1-2K points too... some of them where like YSL and Givenchy. So no matter what I always compare back to that... and probably why I have a hard time spending my points. 😄

I was lucky in 2015 to get this set for 5000 points. I still use one of the eye tints at least once a week. Gifted my daughter,her friends, and my friends the other items. Everyone was so happy! It is an awesome reward and I am appreciative that Sephora offered it.

5000 pts got me two $100 rewards this year, which I redeemed for 2 of the new Tom Ford quads. Although it's disappointing that the value of points has diminished a lot, at least we can finally pick out exactly what we want and there are more opportunities for everyone to redeem. I've also decided I want to use up my points as fast as possible since hoarding them has only made them less valuable.

@KateLovesYSL Oh Wow! I remember this reward! It was amazing! Does anyone remember the Formula X reward released around the same time? It was a train case full of every color of Formula X nail polish for 5,000 points. I wanted that in the worst way.

@veronika23 I could totally afford that Paris trip! but now 10 000 points gets you a handbag you could buy for $200 or a bottle of perfume. I rarely spend my points  either.

I have a few more recommendations too 😁

Fresh Start mask: two-part clay that I find just fascinating. A little cooling, a little warming, a little bubbles, but none of these are obnoxious or exaggerated...it doesn't feel like bubbles are going to overtake your vision, or that your skin is on fire. Just a gentle deep clean. Hate the pouch packaging, mostly because you can get at least two (even three) uses per package, and open packets are the bane of my existence 😋

Antidote Daily Cooling Lotion: great lightweight moisturizer with an awesome cooling sensation, excellent for summer

Lip Fix balm: the best squeeze tube balm I've ever come across (and I normally hate squeeze tubes). It's really thick and creamy, and soaks in like a great body cream, instead of sitting on top of your lip and wearing off like many wax or petrolatum based balms.

Icelandic Relief Eye Cream: thick, almost spongy (have you tried Algenist Genuis Ultimate Eye Cream, the green jar? It's a very similar texture, different from most creams). The texture takes some getting used to, but it has excellent hydration without being too heavy.

Their Brightening Eye Serum I found to be overwhelmingly floral scented, and I couldn't get past it...it's the only item I've tried but didn't like.

Thanks @RGbrown! That mask also sounds interesting... but I think what got my attention most is that lotion. I LOVE a cooling effect... and my face often needs it. 😄  I've never tried either those eye creams but looking for a new one... I have many, many, many minis right now so will be using those before committing to a full size. Will add it on my list so I can remember though! Thx! 🙂

@RGbrown  I told myself that I would use up what I have and try not to spend on new items but that was kind of a fail... still bought some new skincare because of all the sales. 😄

I have a stack of boxes of those eye gels, @veronika23😄 they are my staple eye masks. The glacial cleanser is good, I like it for summer skin. I have the Arctic Hydration Rubberizing Mask just waiting for me to be brave enough to try it, ha!

@eshoe   cool! I think I tried those and they didn't do much for me... I do have that cleanser (mini) and it's not bad although not my thermal cleansing balm. 😄 Very interested in that mask now... when you do try it I hope I get to see your review. Sounds interesting! Thank you! 🙂

i am just curious if anyone has heard anything on the Urban Decay Born to Run personalized palette reward from September? I know it stated that you should receive the reward from 4-6 weeks after October 1, and customer service told me that they should have been shipped on October 15....

I never got mine and when I emailed them they did not know what happened..... then they said they ran out and gave me my rewards points back.

Oh no!!! That is horrible that you did not get the reward! Hopefully, I can get a definite answer about mine soon...still waiting on the events coordinator to get get in touch with me....
