Empties

I love seeing other peoples empties! So I decided to make a board where people could post pictures of their empties, or just tell us about them! I'd also be interested in knowing whether you're repurchasing anything or not.

Re: Empties

I love the Agave Hair Oil!

Re: Empties

Me too.  I was pleasantly surprised!

Some of these are true empties and some (mostly the makeup) are products I'm giving up on or ones that are too old.

Best: I really like a lot of these, but the Algenist Concentrated Reconstruction Serum is the only one I repurchased.

Worst: The Marc Jacobs liquid liner pen (from a 500-point perk) was a complete bust. I literally used it only twice before tossing it.

Re: Empties

You know I love BiFacial, but I am impressed you finished three so quickly. It takes me a long time to finish one.

Re: Empties

To be fair, I empty whatever eye makeup remover I'm using into one of those plastic containers with a pump that they have in stores. I can't find the Sephora one that I use, but the bottle looks like this.

Re: Empties

That is smart. As much as I love the product, I am not a fan of the bottle (sample or full-sized).

Re: Empties

It has an insane safety lock on it. I've had an easier time getting into medicine bottles.

Re: Empties

Really! It surprises me that you hated the MJ liner so much, I would consider using that over KVD. What did you not like about it?

Re: Empties

This MJ liner is my HG!

Re: Empties

I also hate the KvD! The only felt-tipped liner pen that I like is the Stila.

Now, I don't know if this is because it's a deluxe mini, but the product was dispensed very unevenly and skipped a lot. I also noticed the felt tip was already fraying after only two uses, and I wasn't exactly using it to sign my John Hancock on important documents or anything. Also, sometimes the color would be more gray than black, even though I shook it vigorously before using it. It just didn't seem worth my time to continue trying it.

Re: Empties

The Stila one truly is lovely.  It's so fool proof.  I've found it to be the easiest to use.  I love it!

Re: Empties

What did you think of the FAB Radiance Polish?

Re: Empties

ETA: My original response made no sense because I was thinking of a different product. Sorry!

This is sort of a repurchase. I received a deluxe sample last year and bought the full size when it ran out. It lasted a good seven months with me using a tiny bit every three days or so. I'll probably purchase again, but I have so many other exfoliator samples to get through first.

Re: Empties

Such great empties!  I too am trying to get better at tossing out things that are too old or don't work for me.  For me, my L'Oreal products were in that camp.  I bought them when I desperately needed makeup at work for a touch up and they were never really my color or formula.  They hung around my bathroom drawer far longer than they should have.  Now I'm better at having a small stash of makeup at work to avoid purchases like this.

What did you think of those Karuna face masks?  I've always been curious about them.

Re: Empties

I don't know that I can judge if the Karuna masks (or any masks) actually make my skin better, but I do like that my skin is still soft the next morning. However, I actually find them a bit harder to apply than the Sephora ones; the Karuna ones stick together more and are harder to untangle from the plastic backing.

Re: Empties

That's fair.  I swear with most of mine it is more immediate and short lived benefits though part of why I love them is for relaxation purposes.

Re: Empties

I'm a tad late but here are my August empties. There are quite a few repeats of things that are HG status for me and some items I couldn't picture because they became empty while travelling and I didn't bother keeping.

Haha, we must have very different perfume tastes. I bought a rollerball of Le Vie Est Belle and gave my sample of Velvet Orchid away. 🙂

Re: Empties

lol It was earlier in the month but if I remember correctly I think I thought it was too sweet

Re: Empties

It is very sweet. I remember being surprised that I like it. I actually rolled some on after I saw this picture. 🙂
