What’d You Buy? VIB Sale Spring 2018

I always like seeing people’s “tallies” during the sales of what they’ve just ordered. What have you ordered so far? I put in two separate orders because one was an aerosol that would slow down shipping. Heaven forbid! I also spent the rest of my points. I only have six measly points left. I used to be a severe points hoarder and had almost 10k saved at one time. It’s so weird seeing a single digit. Anyway, here are my orders so far:

Order #1

Two Pat McGrath lipsticks (my first) and a mini size of a Boscia matte primer. 

Order #2

Sephora Perfection Mist Nude Glow - I have no idea how this will work but it looks pretty cool. You spray it on and it makes you look young and dewy. I’m in!!!

Here's my order!  So excited to get everything!  (I had to pare it down from a LOT of choices, lol.  @blackkitty2014, I'm glad we snagged our Tom Ford shadow.  Luckily mine says that it shipped, too!

Have you tried the Diorshow Lash Primer before, @curlychiquita?  I'm curious about it, as I've been using the CILS Booster by Lancome and Sephora doesn't seem to carry the Shisheido primer anymore.

@greeneyedgirl107, I've used it and I like it! It does make my lashes look longer under my mascara.  It's the only lash primer I've used, though, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

That lip scrub looks nice, might have to give that a try. I use the glam glow lip scrub and love it.

Me too @curlychiquita.  I was worry about that TF cream eyeshadow because it was sold out at Neiman Marcus. Hope we both enjoy it 🙂

Nice choices @curlychiquita! How 'scrubby' is the Sephora lip balm and scrub? I like the idea that its in stick format compared to a pot but worried that means its a lot more balm then scrub?

@Aaliaa @curlychiquita I like the Sephora scrub... the scrubby bits are sugar so they melt and leave the balm behind. It's not the grittiest scrub ever, but I don't mind since it's so portable.

@fieldsofclover You described the product perfectly!  I got one for my sister this Christmas - now I'm thinking about getting one for myself!  I can't believe how dry my lips have been this season.  I honestly blame wearing more lipstick than the cold!

@curlychiquita  You got such fun items 🙂 have you used the Dior lash primer before? I tried the Lancome lash primer a while ago and wasn’t sure if it did anything. Since then, I’ve been kinda skeptical about them 🤔

Thanks, @Guessgal! I have used the Dior lash primer -  I had it as a sample.  I haven't used the Lancome, though, so I can't compare them.  I am realistically never going to go through the hassle of applying false lashes, so I like that the primer makes them look longer.

So far it’s only this stuff I ordered. I do have a few makeup products I want to pick but I have to swatch them first. Hopefully during or before the next round I can visit a store and check them out.

@howconnie @mermadelove I haven’t tried Olaplex before but it is so much hyped here that I couldn’t resist to add it in my sale order. I’ll keep you guys posted when I use it.

Following! @howconnie I just bleached and fantasy dyed my natural 3c/4a curls. I bought the olaolex in anticipation of this but didn’t end up using it yet. I have a LOT of very fine hair and that bottle looks like ONE application to me! I did a DIY protein and moisture treatment first and so far so good. Unless I hear some bomb reviews on olaplex, I may return it!
