What’d You Buy? VIB Sale Spring 2018

I always like seeing people’s “tallies” during the sales of what they’ve just ordered. What have you ordered so far? I put in two separate orders because one was an aerosol that would slow down shipping. Heaven forbid! I also spent the rest of my points. I only have six measly points left. I used to be a severe points hoarder and had almost 10k saved at one time. It’s so weird seeing a single digit. Anyway, here are my orders so far:

Order #1

Two Pat McGrath lipsticks (my first) and a mini size of a Boscia matte primer. 

Order #2

Sephora Perfection Mist Nude Glow - I have no idea how this will work but it looks pretty cool. You spray it on and it makes you look young and dewy. I’m in!!!

Going through the comments and I came across this post. I have super fine hair (but a lot of it), usually takes about 11 oz of color to cover, and was also pretty concerned about the size of the bottle. To make it last, what I've been doing is applying a dime size amount with a moisturizing hair mask to damp hair and covering with a shower cap for a few hours.

@howconnie. For reference, my hair is halfway between armpit and bra strap length when stretched and DENSE AF. (I’m a two boxes of drugstore hair dye girl) so I hope that helps!!!  The DIY treatment I used worked amazingly well! Here’s the recipe if you are interested: 

1 egg

1cup Greek yogurt ( i used honey flavored- extra moisture!)

1 TBSP honey

5 chunks shea butter

7 tbsp coconut oil

5 tbsp castor oil 

I added some chunks of beeswax to mine.   This made enough for three applications, and BONUS! - coated my curls and acted like a setting cream— I rinsed 90% of it out after letting it sit for about 45 minutes. Finished with DevaCurl supercream.

This is second day hair!

My local Sephora now carries Pat McGrath in store, so I picked up MatteTrance Vendetta (a very rich, balanced dark yet true red). Even though I still have a $25 gift card to use, I can't think of anything else I really want or need, but I'll be studying everyone else's hauls and see if I get sone inspiration!

Not pictured:  DE Lala whipped moisturizer and Sephora Collection's Sea Mist lip stain (which was also on sale for $9!)  I was in the midst of messaging my friend about needing all of the *weird* lip colors and saw that these were on clearance so I jumped on them.

Figured I'd be good this sale.

Klorane Sun Lightening Spray and a pair of Tarte lashes. I have no experience with either of these products. In fact, there’s no one worse with a set of lashes than me but about once a year I buy a pair, mangle them while I stress myself out for 15 minutes trying to get them on my lid, throw them out and then try again a year later. It’s that time!

I binged on Becca highlighter some of the items were purchased right before the sale to get a gwp but it still counts for me.
