Sparkling September Hauls

This has been one of my favourite threads to follow each month, seeing and being inspired by all the spectacular hauls by my fellow BICer's. I thought since it’s my birthday this month I would set up a thread for all of us to share what we purchase from drugstore deals to Sephora shops to limited edition wonders. @eshoe Hm, I don’t really use it on a day to day basis because my job doesn’t lend itself to much makeup. On days I don’t need to work and I can dress or do my makeup how I want I will use some depending on the look I’m going for. If I have a special occasion I will use more, if it’s just for whatever I’ll use a lighter hand.

Your Dior Diorskin Bronze is just inspiring!  I don't know if I could use it!  Probably, but I really like just looking at it!    Nice Besame swatches:)

@tsavorite I do keep looking at it! I love that it’s got some pink in it, since even though I’m not cool toned, I’m still fair enough that a lot of bronzers look orange on me. I think it will be a nice one for cooler weather looks.

@alexasteph Nice haul! You got such a great deal on the Besame lipsticks. That’s too bad that the packaging and product aren’t what you were expecting though. I’m also happy to know I’m not the only person who hasn’t tried Mac Fix+ yet! 😄

@CakesCakes I think they were just over priced at full price! Even before I purchased it I knew I likely wouldn’t have used the Dopey shade. It’s just not my type of shade, I don’t generally like glitter or shimmer on my lips. I think the quality of the remaining shades is probably there, they felt great swatching them! 

My MAC collection is really small, just a couple of lipsticks and now this!

@alexasteph What would you say your main use for Mac Fix+ would be? I guess I’m always on the fence about purchasing it because I never know what the best use for it would be for me. And my Mac collection is small too, just a few lipsticks and lip liners.

@CakesCakes I’ll use it as a setting spray. I know it can also be used to wet eyeshadows for higher pigment or a different finish. Since I do that occasionally to use darker shadows at liners, I’ll likely use it for that as well. You just spray the brush before dipping it in the shadow.

@alexasteph So fun!! That Dior bronzer is soo pretty! Those things are always hard for me to use at first! 

The Besame shades look great! Too bad you don't get a whole lot of product, but they sure look cute!

@Shosh85 They are adorable! I actually plan on using the Dior tomorrow haha. It’s not sooooo pretty I’m afraid to use it! It’ll last forever anyway, I don’t use up product hahahah.

@curlychiquita I’ve been wanting a Dior compact for a long time because they are just so dang pretty! I’m excited to use it, I think it will work as a bronzer or a blush, similar to Too Faced Pink Leopard. The Dwarfs are so sweet!! They join my cream blush from that collection and will be joined by the ColourPop stuff I pick up next week!
