The Sephora Holiday Savings Event starts off this month with its usual bang. ✨ We are excitedly waiting too see what treasures we all scored during this wonderful event! 😍 

Gifts for our friends, loved ones and of course a little (or a lot 😉) of selfcare items are set to be arriving at our doors.

It’s such a pretty set of colors @PrettyPaint . Also easier to open than previous years. Very elegant!

@Sunnysmom I don’t know that I’ve ever purchased directly from Dior. Is their rewards program pretty nice?

It is @PrettyPaint ! They offer lots of samples, makeup bags, “ large size” generous mini makeup/skincare/fragrances, birthday gift, event participation, virtual consults too. Plus charms to earn for challenges that you can then trade in for rewards. Never a % off so far tho. Sephora and others are still the way to go for that! 🥰

@Sunnysmom, the pumpkin enzyme mask is a lovely gentle exfoliating mask. I hope you like it. Ahhh, that Dior palette is larger than I assumed it would be. Hmmm...it may end up being a back up gift.

Oh I hope I do too @itsfi ! It says it’s warming?! Nice nice. I wanted to buy more. Restraint for a change. For now. 🤣 The Dior has great shades this year. Better than previous imo. Highlighter is gorg and all of it. I see it’s on sale on various sites. Buy 1 buy 2! 😆

lol, glad I didn’t see the sale @Sunnysmom; 😆 I purchased it a while back but haven’t taken it out of the Dior box. I was waiting for my other Dior things to arrive - it really should be the last of Dior orders. Agree the colors look great this year. I dunno why I thought it would be smaller. 🤷🏻‍♀️

OH I misunderstood @itsfi ! You already got it! Ooh I think it’s so good. The shadows are great. Different shades of neutrals too I  thought. I get the Dior weakness! So many beauties from them. Scared for spring. Also… spring?! 😭

I bought that MAC set in the same colors as a gift for someone 💖 Beauty gifts are always well-received. I love not having to guess someone's size. Lol.

BF Surratt.  After trying these, I wish the brand would be making more products/shades, but sadly it seems they might be going out of business.  Stores that used to carry the whole brand either have only a few, or no, products listed.

Artistique Blush, Highlighter, and eye shadows.

Swatches shown top to bottom in the same order.  I swatched the blushes lightly, as I would if I were applying them on my face.

Eye Shadows: Zibeline has a mauvey tint to it, but I couldn't capture it.

I can't tell you how smooth all of the powders are.  The shadows are almost creamy to the touch.  Smoother than any other shadow I have EVER tried.

Aureole may be my favorite highlighter of all time, it's that gorgeous.

Previous to trying Surratt's eyelash curler, my favorite was Rephr's. 

I tried the Surratt one twice, and did not pinch my eye at all, which I still do with the Rephr, although less than with others I've tried. There is something about the angle that really works, and I have hooded lids, due to droopy eye lids.
