Here’s round one.  My Gucci highlighter case came dented. I am still deciding whether this is worth returning or not.  Like, i’d prefer it not to be dented but product itself is fine. It may bother me every time I use it though.

@heartsmyface  great haul, sorry about the dented highlighter though, that's a shame. As long as it's not too difficult to do so, I would return it for a replacement, if it's going to bother you (it would probably bother me ngl 😅) Love the CT advent calendar, it looks so luxe and fun!

I agree with returning it! Sorry to hear it’s so lightweight. I’ve noticed that more and more. The Christian Dior holiday one is absolutely stunning in design but also plastic vs metal. I didn’t compare the blushes but I also think it’s a button every time. I also noticed the latest Rouge G case is smaller.

Oh, it hurt to see the dent in that Gucci compact @heartsmyface! I can understand your dilemma; if it's not too inconvenient for you, I say return it - part of that product is the compact design. Love seeing the CT on your table, along with that lipstick plush ornament. 😍

@itsfi  Yeah that was my thinking.  It’s odd cause the compacts look beautiful but both feel like cheaper and lighter more dry plastic.  The highlighter feels especially insignificant in weight and feels lighter than most of my highlighters.  I’m disappointed it’s made with flimsy plastic and seemingly isn’t metal but with a metallic coating.  
With the blush the top with the stars isn’t the same as the regular blushes.  The regular ones have the stars printed under a thick clear laminated coating. The holiday version has the stars printed in gold with a much thinner less rubbery? laminate coating. Meh, not a deal breaker but a little disappointing given the prices are higher and the quality is lower.  I’d rather pay more and keep the quality they started out with.  
See how the material is so thin that the inside hinge components are misshaping the actual compact? It’s literally not strong enough to support itself.

Yeah, I agree @heartsmyface. The Gucci holiday one did feel a lot lighter than my other Gucci blushes - and I almost dinged the product itself when I opened it (user error). 🙄

@itsfi  ha I struggle to open their blush compacts cause my tired brain before coffee doesn’t understand it’s not a button and that it’s two pieces that separate.  Every. Time.  That’s clearly a me issue.  
Is your holiday blush dented on the bottom where the hinge is?  I have to check my other compacts to be sure but I have never noticed this happen with any compact before.
