Makeup Up Show May Madness

The Brush Book, @WinglessOne put this on my radar, this was the first thing I picked up

Remember those Sephora+ Break Up To Makeups bags?!?!  I love those, I think I bought nearly all of them; was sad to see them leave and one of them has disintegrated (learned my lesson about what to keep in it and where to keep it), so I was happy to get a new one.  I told the founder how much I loved these 🫶🏽

My Kitco ...James was there and I couldn't remember the name of the brush I loved, which was my Small Shadow brush... But everyone at the booth was lovely.  Also, this is the brand that collab'ed with Danessa.  With all the brushes nowadays, I think My Kitco def should have a seat at the table along with ..

I love Sephora Pro Brushes.  Love my Sigmas.  Me and Rephr are cool.  Hey BK Beauty, sup.  But these.  😦. They have density, but are super soft to the touch.  Bundled well but not loose or flimsy feeling.  I'mma just wipe them down and use them this week because I can't wait to try them   🤞🏽🤞🏽

That gold one is natural hair, not sure what, but it's really soft.  The handle I love; it feels like a really nice ballpoint pen.  I appreciate the narrowness at the top, because I like choking up on a brush like this, too.

I picked up the travel set at like 70% off 😦💀, so I'm fan of that

This towel is worth it, I've gotten brushes to near spotless with it.  I saw that they sold cases for their fans, so I asked what would for the one I had & they suggested this one.  They also had this adorable travel eyeshadow brush.  I can fit both the eyeshadow brush with the fan into this case!  It's got Velcro openings at both ends.

@danielledanielle  Hooray for meeting Danessa in person (love that photo) and nabbing a not-yet-released palette! And I hope Esum’s brush book works out for you! 

My only Omnia brush is an eye blender, so it’s good to hear more about their face brushes. I also see a Hakuhodo slide face brush; I packed one of mine (I’m in Vegas right now) and it’s served me well so far, so hopefully yours will too. Now I might need to get that towel. 😅

I think you'll love the towel, it's such a simple wonder - the little loops just grab pigment so well.  Wish it wasn't white, but other than that 💯

The Hakuhodo brush, ah yes, didn't mention it.  It is Goat + Synthetic, its bristles are stipple like, and I have a thing lately for stipple brushes as I get better results with them for cream blushes, so I am thinking this one would be for blush touch-ups since I still mask most of the time when commuting.

I heard of it last year on IG (I think...) and had just missed it.  It's usually around the same date yearly and location on my end (so I've been told), and I know they have 1-2 other locations @Titian06 .  It's aimed largely at MUAs and industry types, but it's also for enthusiasts like us and I emailed them prior to purchasing tickets to make sure it was okay to go.  It was basically a big playground for me, 🤣, so if this is a thing you'd like to do, def google "The Makeup Show."
