Meaningful March Hauls 2023

I have been curious about PAT McGRATH LABS Skin Fetish Highlighter & Balm Duo on cyber orchid (PMG exclusive). I only saw one other person post it in a haul but I never received feedback. Truthfully after swatching this I prefer NUDESTIX Nudies Glow Cream Highlighter Stick Ice Ice Baby in half moon (also a Nudestix exclusive). I feel that the Nudestix is more pigmented and it is $23.00 cheaper. The Nudestix leans more pink while the PMG leans more orchid.

I don’t mind the orchid @ather. What bothers me is that it is barely visible.

@Loretta55  Thanks for the comparison! I've been talking myself out of Pat's Cyber Orchid highlighter stick because I can't swatch it in person. I still have the Golden shade and know how pigmented that one is, but I wasn't sure how opaque Cyber Orchid really is. I do know how opaque Half Moon is (haven't swatched it myself, but a friend swatched his in person for me), so your photo and feedback tell me Cyber Orchid's quite sheer. Not necessarily a bad thing for times I want something sheer, but not a dire need, so I can keep holding off. 🙂 

I do think Cyber Orchid looks good on you, though!

I’m glad that my swatch helped you @WinglessOne. If I would have seen a swatch of cyber orchid, I would not have purchased it. I really like half moon.

It is my taste @CynthieLu but I feel that the Nudestix highlighter is so similar and more pigmented. I will be keeping the PMG.

@Loretta55, the PMG highlighter looks very pretty on you. Maybe you'll like it more (or grow to like it more) with the right combo of base, blush and bronzer?

@Sunnysmom thank you!  As for the #Virtue Hydrating & Heat Protectant Healing Hair Oil 1.7 oz/ 50 mL , I do like it.  My hair is incredibly straight and can get weighed down easily so a lot of oils are just too heavy but this one is one of the lightest I've ever tried.  If you've tried the Verb Ghost Weightless Oil to Fight Frizz and Enhance Shine, this one feels even lighter-weight than that one but it's still very effective (and it smells good, too0).

Thanks @CookieGirl1 , so is mine so this is great to know if I try one. I’ve typically stayed away from oils but lately my hair just needs something more. Ugh. 💞
