April purchases, odds and ends

Nars goodies from a random sweepstakes. I might pass these on since the colors don't really call to me.

Straggler from the Sephora sale that took a while to arrive. The Pear Jam is a little rose heavy for me but I really like the The Vanille. 

Some Kbeauty liners I decided to try, with the thicker tip like the Rhode ones. They're nice but not as long-wearing as the one I just got from Oiad.

There was a great deal on this dry shampoo at Costco so I had to pick it up. 

I find these hair ties at Marshalls. I bought some before and they haven't stretched out so I'm happy to grab some more. A girl can never have too many hair ties.

I DID IT FOR THE GWP! 🛍 

I also did it for the Beauty Challenge but messed up because I didn't realize it was only on app purchases and my app was glitching so I placed it on my browser. Womp womp. But look at those minis!!

Everything looks fabulous, @makeitup305! I’m sure you’ll be happy with the Fenty blush even though you didn’t get the points from the challenge. I never order on the app because I have trouble with it on my phone.

@curlychiquita I usually don’t have any issues, but it wouldn’t let me add samples and I kept getting an error. The blush is very pretty and I already knew I loved Mochi Milk so it’s not a big deal. I’m kind of annoyed that now the threshold for every challenge is $50 instead of $25.

@faeriegirl It’s a really pretty color on the cheeks. So far I prefer the lighter shade, but I’m happy I can make it work even though it’s on the deeper side. 

I was so annoyed with myself when I realized that I messed up 🙄

@CynthieLu @lmaster I already had the full size of the lighter shade and have used it a few times. I also did a look with it today for the Spring Cheek Challenge 2025: Style Awakening . I like it more than I thought I would. They’re more pigmented than I expected (though not like the YSL or the Giorgio Armani). I would describe it as semi-sheer. But they wear well and don’t disturb my foundation too much. If you want something fresh to wear over tinted moisturizer or bare skin it’s a nice choice. They look quite deep in the picture because of the lighting and they leave a stain once wiped off.

@CynthieLu the picture is definitely misleading- they are not that deep. They do show up well, but idk if enough for someone deeper than a tan skin tone.

@makeitup305  great hauls! I love those little Glow Recipe blush minis, I also picked one up myself (only got the berry since I already have the watermelon full size). Have you tried the DedCool Mochi Milk yet? I am interested to try that one. Hope you enjoy everything!

@caitbird Mochi Milk I’d done for online pickup but it ended up spilling out. It smells really good. A nice gourmand for everyday wear. I already had a full size of the lighter shade but since the promo let me grab both I figured I’d get both and pass on the mini. They’re so cute! They look like Shopkins.
