Marvelous spring savings finale @danielledanielle 😍 ahhhhh, Prada! Love. That green looks beautiful. Ooouh, I love the JM soaps as gifts - nice one for your MIL. The Ulta intermission was way more fun than most of the show intermissions I've taken part in, lol. Is that blingy tube a perfume atomizer?

Aaaah so many fab goodies 😍 @danielledanielle. You did good! I'm purposely avoiding looking at anything from Prada atm but it's hard. But I might go hunt for swatches on the threads, the curious feeling after seeing your haul is too powerful. 🫣

I can’t see that Ultraviolet swatch without also seeing the cupid’s bow struggle. Why, Prada. Why.

These photos are from November 2024. I remember how annoyed I was with the shape of the Prada lipstick tips: I fought to get those semi-clean lines with Ultraviolet. I still think Prada should rethink their bullet shape. The formulas, though, are quite good! And the eyeshadow quads are wonderful, especially in person. My swatch photos don’t do the foiled metallic shades justice. 

If Prada releases refills of the newest quads, I might buy one. I do also still want another of the original quads; I’m just trying to resist for now. 😅

Ahhh yes, I do remember your first go with the Prada lip sticks and your thoughts on the bullet @WinglessOne   luckily for them thier formula sounds like it makes up for it a little? Can I ask how long the colour lasts when you put them on? 

I'm trying not to look lol, or at least the shopping part of my brain is trying to ignore these pretty swatches but they really do look lovely. 😍 From this glimpse I like the vibrancy of the shades a lot.

@CynthieLu  The Hyper Matte lipstick is long lasting; it has a graceful weardown. I never expect any lipstick except a liquid matte to survive a meal, so I always blot my lipstick down right before eating—so I can’t really say if Prada’s lipstick lasts through a meal. But it does hold up very well to several cups of coffee and water throughout the day. It transfers of course; that’s to be expected of any bullet lipstick. 

the Soft Matte feels more comfy on my lips (not that they Hyper Matte’s drying, it’s just not as comfy as the Soft Matte) but it wears away more quickly.

@danielledanielle  Heh, I think that brown blush preference mostly comes down to skin type/behavior (dry vs. oily) and blush finish. Marnie’s kinda dewy, which works well on my dry cheeks. Creme Brulee also works well, just doesn’t give me that same finish—just like my other DM blushes vs. any other brand’s more dewy blush in similar shades. I suspect Danessa’s blush will hold up better throughout the day in hot weather… I’ll find out myself when I visit Las Vegas next month. It won’t be hot enough for that test here in Chicago til June. 😅 Anyway, it’ll be fun to see the results of your scientific study! 

And YES to the Prada quads! I use my 2 (Poetry and Profusion) more often than I thought I would, partly because the formulas are so good. Even Profusion’s yellow works well for me. Glad your quads work well for you too!

@makeitup305, I went through a lot of the incentivized reviews and all of the verified, so I think my expectations were low 😂.  Lots of this is the best! Not worth it!  There are complaints that are valid, like is it worth the price point vs other offerings.  (C'mon, it's prada.  You're definitely paying for the name).But, the complaints in regards to performance 🤷🏽‍♀️.  Such as shades showing up less pigmented... I have not experienced it.   Some shades do look different on, than in the quad, but they are still very pretty.  Another complaint was they were patchy, but I feel like the brush definitely matters here, i had zero issues with applying them aside from some minor fallout with Prada Beauty Dimensions Multi-Effect Refillable Eyeshadow Palette 09 Primula , which second wear I circumvented with tapping and using a concealer brush.  The performance is 👍🏽👍🏽, and I like the aesthetic of them.  Did I need them?  Ehhhhhh....Define need for me, and I'll make it fit your definition 😂

@danielledanielle I know myself enough to know that I won't reach for it. I've had the same thing happen with TF palettes. I end up reaching for more "bam!" eyeshadow more often  than not.

Sephora sale haul time!! 🙌🙌🙌

I want to try a few other things, but tried to go for the limited edition items that I wanted to try 

The Ordinary The Skin Support Set with Niacinamide + Hyaluronic Acid, I have never tried any of their products, and I have been wanting to for awhile. These were both the products I wanted, so it was the perfect set. I have pretty sensitive skin, I’ve used them once and so far so good! 👍

MILK MAKEUP The Jelly Lip Kit: Lip + Cheek Stain & Lip Oil Duo , I wanted another milk jelly blush and this set looked perfect! Both beautiful shades, and the lip oil smells amazing!

Saie SaieGlow™ Essentials Starter Set , also never tried any of these products! I love them! The super glowy gel is nice and light and smells so good, like roses! The blush is a beautiful Lavendar shade and looks very natural on my fair skin. Lastly, I love how I can build up the lip oil and it has a very smooth application. 
Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Mini Soft Pinch Liquid Blush , saw this was limited edition and had to try it. I’ve also never tried any rare beauty before! It’s a beautiful shade and will last me a long time.

Lastly, I got the shampoo as an Easter gift. It work very well at getting the minerals out of my hair, because we have well water.
