My Kaima Cosmetics order from BF came in while I was out of town. They're multichrome flakes. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I bought them besides "SHINY!!!" as idk when or how often I will wear these but here we are. Finally managed to pick up the SEPHORA COLLECTION Bubble Bath & Shower Gel Monoi that's so popular, can't wait to try it. I also picked up the KILIAN Paris Mini Perfume Sampler Set Westman Atelier Face Trace Cream Contour Stick Biscuit Natasha Denona Mini Biba Eyeshadow Palette with a Rouge Reward. Finally another Roen quad and Kiss My lipgloss since I've been really enjoying the other ones I own and I have no self control.

@makeitup305  I can see why you were drawn to the Kaima Cosmetics flakes. 😍 They kinda remind me of Danessa Myricks's chrome flakes, which I haven't tried yet and keep trying to resist. I'd love to know what you think of the KC flakes once you've played with them.

@WinglessOne I've seen mixed reviews on the DM flakes. The main difference is that these are loose and the DM are in a gel. These are about half the price but I'm not sure about the amount of product vs the DM. I used them today as a topper and they're really pretty. I applied them over their primer with a silicone applicator and that was kind of messy so the second eye I did with a finger and it was much better fallout-wise. It's been a couple of hours since then and it's creased but I've had very little fallout since then. I'd love to swatch the DM in store to see what they're like before trying them out. Edit: nevermind there's quite a bit of fallout.

@makeitup305 ha ha ha I was all good to go about those glittery toppers until the “nevermind there's quite a bit of fallout.” That is a major bummer because their translucence is gorgeous! I am going to check out the DM, that reminded me I looked at them a while ago but someone became sidetracked. 

eta is that the Roen 52? I have a couple of their quads and Disco, rarely use them, but the top two shades in the 52 11:11 are fantastic toppers.

@eshoe I have the 52 and I really like it, this one is 11:11. I haven’t tried it yet, I need to post swatches. When I saw reviews of the Roen quads and how best to apply them , this one seemed to be a fave. I tried the flakes today and had better luck and less fallout, plus I did my eyes first. I posted a pick on the the 100 Shades of Eyeshadow Challenge but here’s a closeup. It’s very reflective and the sun really amps it up. I only have powder shadow in my crease and outer and inner corner. In person it doesn’t look patchy like it might in pictures because it’s so shiny. This shade gives me mermaid vibes.

eta I meant the top two shades in 11:11. Those have enough chunky glitter to appear flakey.

@eshoe That’s what I’ve heard, and what prompted me to buy 11:11 even though I had the other quads. I think the formula is unique enough in my collection that I don’t mind having all 3. Disco is ok, not my favorite as it tends to get hard pan but the the look on the eyes is pretty.
