Disco was a hard pan before I even tried it, @makeitup305 😕 I was just looking at it again today as I pulled out the 11:11 and thought hmmm….what can I do to get creative with this? I am de stashing right now but want to make this work somehow. I think I might remove it from the pan and mix it with some body crème 🤷🏻‍♀️

@eshoe the best way to use it in my little experience is to use a flat shader brush and go against the grain to loosen up the product and then just apply with my finger. I wonder if it does that because the particles are more on the flat side, like flakes, and just get pressed down into each other as you rub your finger on it.

@makeitup305  Thanks for the review and beautiful photo! Good info about application: I wondered if a silicone applicator would help with those loose flakes, but it sounds like a finger's the way to go. I might need to look into picking up a shade or two. 

And yeah, some folks absolutely hate the DM flakes. You'd think being in a gel would help application, but apparently it's still tricky. The common tip I hear is to apply to one eye, leave that eye closed for 2-3 minutes to let the flakes dry down, and then work on the other eye. That's more work than I'd like to do, in addition to anything else I'd do to my eyes. 😄 Still, curiosity will probably make me buy a shade.

@WinglessOne I heard about keeping the eye closed, too, but yes that sounds like a pain. These are not easy to work with, at least for a beginner user like me, and the fallout is almost impossible to remove. I'm going to try a few primers and strategies to see what might work the best. I probably won't try for full opacity and use them more as toppers if I find an easier way to use them.

@curlychiquita I tried it today and really liked it! I think it's one of the few cream products I feel comfortable swiping directly on my face instead of putting on my hand first. I also like Truffle as a bronzer on top. I'm wearing KILIAN Paris Love, Don’t Be Shy Eau de Parfum with Orange Blossom and Vanilla and quite like it. Definitely looking forward to trying the others.
