The Black Friday/Cyber Monday Deals keep rolling in, slowly but surely. Mostly from ULTA but also snagged the Ellis Brooklyn Marvelous CBD Extra Rich Body Lotion Cream 6.52 oz/ 185 g from Sephora before it poofed off the face of the Earth for good. 😩 Also, had a ton of Free GWPs with this order (Drunk Elephant, Exuviance, Ralph Lauren) not pictured is the sample variety bag and ULTA men's waffle robe that came as a gift with the perfume purchase (already snagged the cream colored one for myself from an earlier haul), it will be getting thrown in as an add-on bonus gift for my s/o.

How cute is that little Ralph Lauren GWP Bear? 😍 He looks so dapper and handsome in his fancy outfit.

@Mellmars1185 I actually finally got to try out my new Babyliss straightener today! 🙂 I'm pretty happy with it although my hair can never truly achieve the pin-straight look, but so far I'm impressed with the results. Was very tempted to do curls but yesterday was wash day and I knew my hair would "snap back" a bit from the straightened style and be even better for curling later this weekend 🤗

@QueenMarceline nice! So do you find straightening your hair works best on wash day? I have not straightened my hair in a long time.

@Mellmars1185 I think so but that is likely correlated with my hair type which is best described as natural unruly wavy-curls. 🤣 When I wash my hair and it initially dries-it is at it's curliest and usually, that doesn't work out for the best good curls 😕 If I want to curl my hair it's honestly much better to have straightened it a few days beforehand (it starts to naturally curl back up by this point towards the ends, but stays straighter closer to the root area). Since the straightening helps tame some of the "unruliness" out of my curls, I find that my hair looks way better and holds the curl longer when it was previously straightened.

I used to be able to avoid this tedious process all together by regularly taming my hair with Brazilian blow outs at the salon, but haven't done so in over a year so it's fully back to it's natural state and definitely needs a little more attention these days. It's Day 2 post-straightening now and the Babyliss definitely is holding the straight hair wayyyy better than my previous CHI flat iron, I'm actually way more impressed with the results it provides on Day 2 vs. Day 1. 🤗

Oooooohhhh I LOVE the GWPs and your other items. GWPs are like frosting on a cake. Sure, we can enjoy cake just fine without it, but why? Lol.

@furbie Exactly, but why? 🤗 These were honestly a great range of GWPs from very solid brands, usually you have to hit a brand specific threshold to qualify but these were all category specific with fairly low thresh ($25-35). I only found out about them through the Ulta GWPs thread and so glad I checked it out before ordering ❤️

That's even better @QueenMarceline!!! A lot of us, myself included, are done spending for the year. So, to not spend hundreds to qualify for a nice GWP is appealing. Ulta knows what they're doing.

@furbie ULTA definitely knows what they're doing. I am almost done shopping for the year and then on to my low/no buy year 👀, so I definitely appreciate these cute extras a ton 🤗 I know I'll definitely use the minis during travel, after my cruise a few months back I'm pretty much all out of travel-friendly sizes for skincare.
