T’was the week before Christmas and all through the malls, BIC’ers were shopping and collecting their hauls…

Happy December to everyone! There will surely be plenty of delightfully decadent December hauls as we all get ready for the holidays. Whether they’re gifts from loved ones or something for yourself, show of your holiday hauls for everyone to see!

Happy birthday to all the December babies! (If you’re like some of my relatives, I’m sorry you only ever got one present at this time of year… You are still very special!)

@makeitup305 thank you! Ambre Etoile is probably my favourite, but I was pleasantly surprised with Pine Parfaite! I thought it would be a little woody/masculine for my taste but there is a beautiful gourmand caramel note that pulls really well on my skin

@cianni, I want to shop your haul! 😍 Are those perfumes new to you or have you tried ones from the brand before? I’ve seen them in Anthropologie but just never went for it (largely because I already had enough things in my basket! 😆) 

My eyes spy the Cicapair mist 👀 Will be curious to hear your thoughts on it. I do love so many things from that line, from the brand really!

@itsfi happy to provide any in depth reviews or wear tests if you’re interested! These perfumes were actually all blind buys! I had seen them all over social media, and a massive selection had been turning up at my local winners so I had to pick some up. they’re great for layering or as hair mist (I don’t find they last as long as I’d like on my skin alone). The Sand+Fog perfume oil does last and is amazing layered or on its own.

ill report back on the Cicapair mist! I think we agree on how we feel about the line/brand, and I’m excited to try it! It must have been mislabeled at Winners. The bottle I picked up is actually 150ml and was $17.99!

A little catch-up hauling from ULTA, DermStore and Macy's 🙂 

One of the Sunday Riley sets is for me, the other is a stocking stuffer for my sister. Technically that BUXOM set is a gift as well but I ordered one for myself earlier (where the swatches come from) and The Body Shop creams are also a gift. The Le Monde Gourmand Creme Brulee perfume was enabled by @cianni I really love it for layering and am really liking the sweeter scent for the winter-time. ❤️ The Ellis Brooklyn Marvelous CBD Massage and Body Oil 1.0oz/ 30mL  were last minute re-stocks since I'm already done with my first bottle and this product was discontinued 😕 Bought myself the a lighter shade of the Estee Lauder Double Wear to help with mixing since the shades I currently have are a bit too dark. The Hair Edit Clips were definitely random splurges but I've really been wanting smaller clips for sectioning hair or half up-do's. The Origins Gift for Me-Time Five Mini Masking Essentials would be a fantastic stocking stuffer but I decided I wanted to give these masks a go and they are honestly the perfect traveling size to pack on the go.

I snagged the BUXOM Pumpkin Pie Latte Lip Cream since I love these creams and usually go out of my way to grab the LE versions when they become available at ULTA. Picked up the Dior Dior Addict Lip Glow 12 Rosewood since it seems like a nice neutral shade and I have not tried their balms before. The Tom Ford Indian Rose is a Breast Cancer campaign pink packaging release that I saw at Macy's and continued to eye until I finally caved (this is my first TF lippie ever). Last but not least, The Buxom Set which includes a full size and mini of Blushing Margarita and Hot Toddy.

THE BUXOM LIP CREAMS 

Despite looking a bit brown compared to these other colors Pumpkin Pie Latte really is a beautiful nude color that does not translate very brown on my lips but more of a neutral-nude. This Blushing Margarita color is beautiful, but... it's not the Blushing Margarita I know and love. I own a couple tubes of this (outside of this set) and the color is usually a much more muted pink while the one in the set is much more vibrant. I may do a comparison of this to show the difference but something with the coloring of Blushing Margarita is just off, it looks more like Rose Julep or Mudslide than it does to the shade it usually is... very strange. The Hot Toddy color checks out and looks identical to my other tubes.

@CookieGirl1 It smells great, I've used the brand before unfortunately I get them off of Amazon so they are almost always blind buys. The Creme Brulee is fantastic, I also own the Pistachio Brulee which I like slightly better but they are both fantastic tries! 🙂 Definitely worth trying out
