T’was the week before Christmas and all through the malls, BIC’ers were shopping and collecting their hauls…

Happy December to everyone! There will surely be plenty of delightfully decadent December hauls as we all get ready for the holidays. Whether they’re gifts from loved ones or something for yourself, show of your holiday hauls for everyone to see!

Happy birthday to all the December babies! (If you’re like some of my relatives, I’m sorry you only ever got one present at this time of year… You are still very special!)

@furbie Since end of June of this year.  I have been trying to do it everyday.  I took an in person one in June and then did a free online beginner course in July that I posted about on here.  Then when that was done I paid for her 6 month course.

My Lovelyskin Black Friday haul arrived! I busted my budget. I did have a $24 rewards credit at Lovelyskin + $30 in Alle rewards that I could apply to my Skinmedica.

The Skinmedica TNS Advanced+ Serum is my 5th or 6th one. It was 20% off. I think it really works so I just keep buying it.  

The Augustinus Bader The Serum was 30% off. I’ve always wanted to try it, so I finally got it.  I need to take a new Augustinus Bader family photo for the thread.  Let’s hope I love it because I don’t know what I’d do with the beautiful refill holder if I don’t. 

The iS Clinical Super Serum Advanced+ is for my husband. He uses it and likes it.  It was 35% off through an email exclusive offer.

The full sizes of the Replenix Age Restore Brightening Moisturizer and the Obagi360 Retinol 0.5 Cream were gifts with purchase. I don’t know anything about these brands but I’ll use them up.

The little sample is Skinceuticals Hyalouronic Acid Intensifier Hydrating Serum, which they give away a lot, and I think is ok but not great.

The app isn’t letting me tag the Bader serum, so I’ll try to come back to edit it.

@Sunnysmom , thank you! I'm really enjoying the #Augustinus Bader The Refillable Serum with TFC8® . It is very lightweight but I feel a difference, and it works well under any moisturizer.  The isClinical is a face serum.  It has a high dose of Vitamin C in it which I think I'm allergic to, so I gave one I had to my husband (who is 60), and he thinks it is helping some spots fade.

These are lovely skincare treats @curlychiquita! You did very well with your haul - your skin is going to love you! Lovely Skin is such a dangerous site - and then they send you random samples of products too. I'm excited for you to try the AB serum - I've read a lot of good things about it. I received a VBB x AB serum and wondered how that might compare with the AB one. 

Ohhh, a new AB family photo - that will be one of the prettiest family photo ever taken. 😍

Thank you, @itsfi! I need to take that photo! Ive used the #Augustinus Bader The Refillable Serum with TFC8® a few days now and I do like it. It's much lighter than the AB/VB serum.  The one with VB is thicker and stickier. I think it works but I think I'll use it up on my chest, where I usually forget to use anything. (Dangerous at my age, I know.)

@curlychiquita, I feel like as we reach a certain age, it gets harder to rebound or remedy if we forget an area. 😟 I have to do better of a lot of things from head to toe, but definitely moisturizing all over and upping the self care / body care game when it comes to certain areas. Le sigh. But we got this, right?! RIght!!! Gonna do better in 2024 and going to start building a routine / habit of it now.

@CynthieLu I will!  I use the Augustinus Bader The Ultimate Soothing Cream Refillable Moisturizer 1.7 oz/ 50 mL or the AB/Victoria Beckham tinted moisturizer each day as my daytime moisturizer and I'm excited to try this serum with them.  I do also have the AB/VB serum (the one on the VB website) and I'm using it now, but it's kind of sticky for day, and I use my Skinmedica at night
