Happy birthday to my fellow December babies! 🥳 BIC access has been difficult for the last couple weeks (I keep getting the 504 error), so I’ll try posting a few things while I can tonight. I haven’t tried anything from this batch on myself yet, except the cleanser which I’ve used before.

Sonia G. Mini Essentials Compact Crease - all I needed to hear from Sonia was “mini buffer for the eye area” and “similar in bristle length and ferrule diameter to the Summer Koi Smooth Blender” to make me order two of these brand new Compact Crease brushes. 😅 I washed one to see how fluffy it’d get. Might post feedback in theLove for Brushes thread later.

Sonia G. Mini Essentials Definer - a wee brush I know I’ll frequently use. Probably should’ve ordered two of these as well, since I’ll likely keep one in my travel kit at all times.

Brush head and handle size comparison. That Summer Koi brush is one of my favorites by any brand.
Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara Noir shade Scandalous Green - at some point, my beloved limited edition Pat McGrath Dark Star green mascara (Electric Jade) will have to be tossed out, and I’ll want a similar replacement.



YSL Slim Velvet Radical Matte Lipstick shade 318 Upbeat Rose - I’ve tried another Slim Matte lipstick formula (pretty sure it was gratis from Sephora a few years ago) but not this one. Upbeat Rose has a subtle gold shimmer I couldn’t quite catch in photos. It also has that YSL rose + black tea lipstick fragrance, but it’s not too strong.

Yves Saint Laurent Lines Liberated 24H Waterproof Eyeliner shades Liberated Bronze and Legendary Gold - I like my sparkly black shade (Prismatic Black) enough to get another color. Couldn’t decide between these two shades because the bronze looks gold at certain angles.

Ulta:

Had to get my re-Diamond gift, so I ordered a couple things.
Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin - I forgot how much I like this basic lathering non-drying cleanser until I used up a mini tube last month. Like most cleansers, this one burns my eyes so I don’t use it there unless I plan to keep my eyes shut til I rinse it off. It doesn’t irritate the rest of my face though.

Chasin’ Rabbits Bunny Line Smoother Eye Cream - sale price (Ulta ran a sale on Korean brands) + 5x points = sure, why not try it. The brand claims this cream fills in lines, which I highly doubt. But the metal roller ball and green tea might help depuff my eyes in the morning.

GWP (re-Diamond gift): Murad Retinal Resculpt Advanced Eye Lift Treatment for Aging Skin .5 oz / 15 ml - the only Diamond gift option I’m likely to use—though I probably don’t need it since I use my full face retinaldehyde serum under my eyes a couple times a week anyway. I’m curious to test it, but might gift it away instead.

Nice purchases, @WinglessOne ! 💖💖💖  I have a couple of the YSL lipsticks (I don't remember which one is gratis from Sephora).  I wore the terracotta color for the first time in a while, planning to destash it.  Instead, I wondered why I hadn't been wearing it. 😅
