Jo Malone Amber and lavender

Hi everyone- has any one tried JM Amber and lavender? The limited edition bottle is so cute and the scent sounds like something I would like. Are there any of her scents that you would highly recommend? I have Nectarine honey and really like that one... Thanks for your input!

Thanks everyone for your replies. I think I will try some of your recommendations- so many of her scents sound lovely. I like the concept of fragrance combining- sounds like a fun way to discover new fragrances!

@laurakristie As other have mentioned, Amber & Lavender is a masculine leaning scent, but if you like the Poppy Delevingne Queen of POP packaging I find Peony & Blush Suede to be a lovely floral scent with some depth so it would warm up your Nectarine Honey quite well.  Red Roses is a very green rose, not sure how it would pair with Nectarine Honey.

Hi @laurakristie!

I just picked up the new LE design of JM Amber & Lavender. I agree with @pocketvenus - Amber & Lavender is one of the more masculine JM scents. So if you like scents that are more commonly marketed to men, I think you may like this one. It's a neat mix of herbal notes (lavender, mint) and warm spices (amber, clove).

I would hesitate to recommend a JM scent for you without knowing more about the types of scents you like. JM really markets their scents as being good options for layering different ones to come up with ones that suite you any given day. For Nectarine Blossom & Honey, they recommend layering with Blackberry & Bay (for their "fresher" scent) and Velvet Rose & Oud (for a "warmer" scent).

@laurakristie, I don't remember this one very well, but it does skew a little masculine in the tradition of a fougere. Wood Sage and Sea Salt, Mimosa and Cardamom and Basil and Neroli are probably her most popular.
