where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

i would like to learn how to improve the eye makeup like a professional makeup artist. Any idea what is the beat idea to learn other than watching online videos ?

RE: where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

Hi girl Sephora has free beauty classes and a lot of them are eye shadow lessons. The classes are hands on, fun and very helpful. Also you tube

RE: where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

Sephora offers classes in some locations, I’ve taken a couple and found them both helpful and fun

I see you’re Rouge. Take advantage of the free makeovers at your local Sephora! Take any classes they have to offer too. You can go anytime you want. If you find a girl or guy that you love, keep making appointments with them until you’re confident you can recreate the look on your own.

How do you find out about classes they offer? I dont think they do have classes really in Ottawa. I never heard of any.. i only know about the makeup service and mini makeup that they provide at store.

Re: RE: where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

@darlyndar I think I may make Rouge for 2018 and I'm excited to take advantage of the free makeup services...but I'm nervous - how often is too often to go?  Obviously I won't be going everyday or every week, but still I want to have the proper etiquette 🙂

Re: RE: where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

@greeneyedgirl107 Go for the first time to test it out. If you like it, take classes. Then, I would go every time I could afford to purchase one or two items. This is our perk as Rouge. Take advantage of it! Lol.

Re: RE: where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

@darlyndar Thanks for the clarification!  The makeup services are free, though - right?  As Rouge, I technically don't have to purchase anything?  🙂

Re: RE: where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

@greeneyedgirl107 Nope! You don’t have to buy anything. 😆 But...the only advice I can give is to try and hit Rouge before the new year. Your points towards Rouge don’t roll over. They start fresh in January. Hopefully you’re not far off!

Re: RE: where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

@darlyndar OK, so I looked at the terms and conditions but wanted to double check with you (I also e-mailed CS).  If I make Rouge by the end of 2017, I will be Rouge for 2018?  THANKS so much for your time and patience!!!

Re: RE: where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

@greeneyedgirl107 Yes! If you make Rouge before the end of this year, you will be Rouge all of 2018. And the next VIB Sale is in April. It’s a 15% discount.

Re: RE: where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

@darlyndar Again, thanks for all your help!  You are an asset to the BIC!!!

YouTube YouTube YouTube!!!!! A word of advice, Always remember this: Eyeshadow is like an onion...😂 it has layers!

RE: where to learn how to apply eye makeup like a pro?

I started off with makeup on seventh grade trying and testing drugstore makeup. In eight grade i started watching YouTube videos and honestly, YouTube is one of the best ways to help learn how to do these things. Also, i would recommend the bobbi brown all about eyes book that also really helped me. But if you are looking for one on one help you should definitely go to the Ulta studio or Mac and ask about classes

@AllieMUA Thanks for reminding me about the Bobbi Brown book - I just ordered one from Amazon!  🙂
