Which Naked Palette Should I Choose?

After years of wearing only pencil eyeliner and mascara, I've recently been stepping up my eye makeup game. I've been playing around with the Sephora Collection Pale to Rich Taupe palette and brown liquid liner, and I like the results. I've been drooling over the Urban Decay Naked palettes and want to buy one, but can't decide which. The pink/rose gold tones in the Naked3 palette speak to me (I tend to gravitate towards pinks/purples anyway), but I feel like the original Naked might be more versatile...maybe more flattering? The colors in that one are gorgeous, too. 

I'd love some recommendations. I want something that's pretty and (somewhat) natural for every day. I don't do smoky eyes very often, because I don't have many occasions to do so. 

For reference, I have medium-dark brown hair, and chocolate brown eyes. My skin tone is fair in the winter, tanner in the summer, but overall pretty neutral.

I have 1-3 and am waiting on the smokey palate and I tend to use the original and 2 more. But I gravitate towards those colors. The 3rd has a lot more options with glitter which I don't use a lot of. I agree, if you can get to a store and swatch them, do it...good luck!

I have the first Naked palette, the Smokey palette, and the maybelline version of the Naked 3 palette. I think the first Naked palette would be the best for you! It blends very easily and you can make very natural looks with it. I use it by far the most of the 3 palettes I have, but the Naked Smokey palette is also on sale right now if you are interested in those shades!

I have both the 1 and 3 and love them both. I've panned most of 1 and use the 3 throughout the summer. If you can, I'd stop by a store and swatch them all to see which one has the colors that really appeal to you the most. The quality is pretty standard across them.

I don't have Naked 3, but have swatched it in store and the pigmentation and texture leaves much to be desired. Many of the mattes look similar to one another, and the glittery shades have a lot of fallout. 

If you want to buy a Naked palette specifically, I would recommend the Naked 2, which leans more neutral compared to the original Naked. If you just want pinkish browns, try Lorac Unzipped or Tartelette.

Get the original! If you're starting out it's a great one because of the versatility and it will allow you to expand outside of your comfort zone as well 🙂

I think they will all look great. Try and get it done at the store to see which one you like best.
